Development course of Fengfeng Group General Hospital
The General Hospital of Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Group Co., Ltd. is located in Fengfeng Mining Area of Handan City, beside Fuyang River and at the foot of beautiful Gushan Mountain. The hospital was formerly known as "Liuhe Gou Coal Mine Hospital" in the late Qing Dynasty (1903), and was subordinate to the government of Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region during the War of Liberation (1947). It was once called Shanxi-Hebei-Luyu Mining Bureau Hospital, but it was renamed Fengfeng Mining Area Hospital after the founding of New China (1949). In 1950s and 1960s, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Huang Hua and other party and state leaders visited the Mining Bureau many times. No matter during the War of Liberation, during the large-scale industrial construction after the founding of New China, or in the later work of mine safety production, the General Hospital made great sacrifices and contributions. After several generations' efforts, it has now developed into a large-scale general hospital with high visibility in southern Hebei and northern Henan. 1994 won the title of the first comprehensive third-class first-class hospital in Handan. On September 20 10, the general hospital of the group company merged with the Second Hospital to form the new Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Group General Hospital. The General Hospital is divided into South Campus and North Campus, covering an area of about 58,000 square meters and a building area of 79,000 square meters. Spinal deformity correction, artificial joint replacement, replantation of severed fingers (limbs), application of various skin flaps and composite tissue flaps, limb lengthening and other technologies have reached the advanced level in China. Laparoscopic ureterovesical anastomosis, laparoscopic nephrolithotomy and retroperitoneal nephrolithotomy in urology have reached the international advanced level. Difficult microsurgery, such as brain stem tumor, total resection of acoustic neuroma with facial nerve preservation, and resection of intramedullary spinal cord tumor, filled many gaps in the province. The Department of Critical Care Medicine is the largest intensive care unit in the province, with first-class rescue and monitoring facilities and information management system in China. The level of diagnosis and treatment of pediatric and neonatal diseases enjoys a high reputation in the local and surrounding areas.
