1, bulldozer blade angle and its adaptation

There are three basic angles when the bulldozer blade works: plane angle (α), inclination angle (β) and shovel angle (γ).

(1) plane angle

Plane angle refers to being on the horizontal plane. Acute angle or right angle between the blade and the longitudinal axis of the bulldozer).

Bulldozers can be divided into fixed shovel bulldozers and mobile shovel bulldozers according to whether the plane angle of the shovel can be changed.

The plane angle of the fixed shovel bulldozer is 90 degrees and fixed, and its operation stability is good.

The blade plane angle of mobile shovel bulldozer can be adjusted within a certain range. When the shovel blade is adjusted to a certain angle to the left or right in the horizontal plane, lateral soil unloading can be realized, which is called oblique shovel. Oblique shovel is used to level the site, build half-dug and half-filled subgrade or carry out other soil cutting operations in the slope area. When the shovel is at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the bulldozer, it is called a front shovel, which is generally used. Therefore, the mobile shovel bulldozer can adapt to the terrain changes and construction requirements, and has been widely used.

(2) Angle of inclination

The inclination angle refers to the acute angle between the blade and the ground in the vertical plane. A shovel is called a side shovel after it tilts at a certain angle in the vertical plane. Side shovels are mainly used for shaping the arch subgrade of roads, digging side ditches of roads or loosening the soil in hard soil.

(3) shovel angle

The shovel angle refers to the acute angle between the shovel and the ground when the shovel is supported on the ground. Changing the shovel angle can change the cutting resistance of the shovel, adapt to different grades of soil and improve work efficiency. When shoveling grade I soil, the shovel angle should be increased, and when shoveling grade II and III soil, the shovel angle should be reduced.

2.TY 120 bulldozer blade angle adjustment method

TY 120 bulldozer is a mobile shovel bulldozer, and its plane angle (90 degrees or 65 degrees) and inclination angle (one blade angle of the shovel is 0-4.6 degrees or 0-300 mm) are adjustable. The adjustment mode is mechanical and complicated. Before adjustment, in order to facilitate adjustment and ensure safety, the shovel frame should be propped up with stow-wood, so that the height of the shovel is about 400 mm from the ground.

(1) Adjustment of plane angle

When adjusting, firstly, pull out the pins of the pillar seats on both sides from the pillar seat holes of the push frame; When a left oblique shovel is needed, rotate the shovel 65 degrees to the left, then insert the left strut seat pin into the rear pin seat hole of the push frame, and then insert the right strut seat pin into the front pin seat hole of the push frame; When the right oblique shovel is needed, the adjustment process is opposite to the above process. If it is necessary to restore the front shovel, first pull out the left and right seat pins, and then insert them into the middle seat pin holes on both sides of the push frame.

(2) Adjustment of inclination angle

In order to obtain the ideal inclination angle in the adjustment process, a wrench should be used to shorten the upper brace on the side to be lowered and extend the upper brace on the other side. If it still cannot meet the requirements of the side shovel after adjusting a certain length, you can adjust the lower brace (that is, lengthen the lower brace on one side and shorten the lower brace on the other side).

(3) Adjustment of bucket angle

If the shovel angle needs to be increased during adjustment, the upper pillar can be extended and the lower pillar can be shortened; If it is necessary to reduce the shovel angle, the upper support should be shortened and the lower support should be extended.
