Anhui Provincial Hospital, founded in 1898, is a provincial-level large-scale third-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and first aid.
Formerly known as Hefei Christian Hospital, it now consists of General Hospital, Southern District (Anhui Anxin Cerebrovascular Hospital), Western District (Anhui Cancer Hospital) and Minimally Invasive Medical Center, with a total area of 26.4 hectares and a construction area of 293,800 square meters. It was identified as the first batch of multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment pilot hospitals for tumors (digestive system) by the National Health and Family Planning Commission.

Anhui Provincial Hospital covers an area of 26.4 hectares with a building area of 293,800 square meters, with 2,050 beds and 2,757 open beds. There are 34 clinical departments and medical technology departments 15, including 49 specialties. In 2008, outpatient visits 1.69 million, more than 59,000 people were discharged and 26,000 cases were operated.
