(2) Modeling. Miniature bonsai should be made carefully. To be "intentional first", prepare the shape of the ancient wood in your chest. Before making, you should know the posture and habits of all kinds of trees like the back of your hand. The shape should be highly summarized, and according to the characteristics of the trunk, some finishing touches should be made appropriately to make it clear. Commonly used modeling methods include brown wire ligation, lead wire winding, branch folding, climbing and hanging, etc. The lead winding method is simple to form. Generally, tree shaping should be carried out in early spring. According to the thickness of the branch, lead wire with appropriate diameter is selected to wind the branch, and then the branch is bent into the required shape. When winding with lead wire, it must be close to the bark with moderate density, and the winding direction should make an angle of 45 with the diameter of the branch. 1 ~ 2 years later, the trunk is basically formed, and the lead wire can be removed. For those unnecessary messy branches, they should be truncated or removed.

(3) put it on the basin. Trees should be transplanted from pottery pots to purple sand pots or glaze pots during plastic surgery. The shape, size and color of the basin must match the tree. Under normal circumstances, deep bucket basin is suitable for cliff type; Oval or shallow rectangular pots should be planted directly or obliquely; The round basin can be equipped with low coiled plants; Gao Qian type should be planted in polygonal shallow basin. In addition, the basin frame should be coordinated with the shape and color of the flowerpot and integrated into a complete artistic structure. (4) maintenance. The maintenance of miniature bonsai especially needs to be thoughtful and meticulous. Pot soil should always be moist, dry and moist, or irrigated with pot immersion. Put it in a cool place in midsummer, and spray water on plants with a fine-hole watering can to keep a humid environment. During the growth period, thin fertilizer should be applied frequently, generally once every 10 day. Can fully decompose bean cake water, hoof water, etc. You can also apply full-element compound fertilizer, and the best fertilization method is pot leaching.
