With the goal of building a first-class specialist hospital for hand and foot surgery in China, the hospital has long been in contact with leading departments in the same industry in China-hand surgery in Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai, orthopedics in Nanfang Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou Southern Medical University, and orthopedics in Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University. In 2008, the hospital specially invited two national famous doctors-Professor Pei, Chairman of Microsurgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association and Dean of Xijing Orthopedic Hospital affiliated to the Fourth Military Medical University, as the hospital's special chief expert, and Dr. Hand Surgery and Chief Physician of Huashan Hospital as the hospital's special chief expert. They are more professional and authoritative in performing various difficult microsurgery operations such as complex trauma and hand-foot diseases, reaching the leading level in China, so that hand-foot patients in Jiangxi can obtain top experts in the country without leaving the province.
In 2009, it was approved by China Courageous Foundation of the Ministry of Public Security, and China Courageous Ambulance Station was established in the hospital. It is also the first medical institution in China to provide assistance to heroes with hand and foot disabilities.
Iriza Orthopedic Diagnosis and Treatment Center was established in the hospital, and the most advanced orthopedic technology in the world-Novo technology in Iriza (the only one imported in the province) was adopted to treat all kinds of hand and foot deformities, especially patients with severe limb deformities, with remarkable results.

The survival rate of replantation of severed fingers (toes and limbs) in the hospital is over 95%, the survival rate of thumb and finger reconstruction and various skin flap transplantation is 98%, and the patency rate of vasectomy and fallopian tube after micro-recanalization is 100%. All kinds of hand deformity correction and functional reconstruction can achieve good clinical results. In 2000, more than 4,000 cases of plastic surgery, hand-foot surgery and microsurgery were performed.
