Guangdong Yanling Hospital was founded in 1982, formerly known as Guangdong Agricultural Reclamation Yanling Hospital, and was renamed Guangdong Yanling Hospital with the approval of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Organization Department in 1999. It is a hospital directly under Guangdong Agricultural Reclamation Bureau, a provincial medical institution, the first batch of designated hospitals for basic medical insurance for urban workers in Guangzhou, and a designated hospital for free medical care in Guangdong Province.
