Twenty-Four Methods of Xingyiquan
1. Xingyiquan has eight whiskers: top, buckle, circle, poison, hug, hanging, bend, and straight. Each whisk corresponds to three parts of the human body, totaling twenty-four methods.
When standing still in the boxing posture, these eight must be present, all of which are used to accumulate energy and nourish the energy, making the enemy and ourselves at a loss. This is also unique to Five Elements Boxing.
Three crowns: the crown on the head represents the power of soaring to the sky; the crown on the outside of the hand represents the power of pushing mountains; the crown on the tongue represents the appearance of a roaring lion and swallowing an elephant.
Three buckles: Shoulder buckles, the strength reaches the elbows; knees and hips buckles, the whole body's strength gathers; hands, feet, fingers and palms buckle, the whole body's strength is strong.
Three circles: the back is round, and its power can destroy the body; the chest is round, and the strength of both elbows is full; the tiger's mouth is round, and the force is brave.
Three poisons: The poison of the heart is like an angry raccoon grabbing a mouse; the poison of the eyes is like a hungry eagle watching a rabbit; the poison of the hands is like a hungry tiger attacking a sheep.
Three hugs: Hold the qi in the Dantian, so that the qi does not escape; hold the body with courage, so that you are not timid in situations; hold the ribs with both elbows, so that there is no confusion in going in and out. (Another saying is that the three sensitivities are: sharp mind, sharp eyes and sharp hands.)
Three drops: if the Qi drops, the Qi will fall to the Dantian; if the shoulders drop, the shoulders can destroy the elbows; if the elbows drop, the elbows can destroy hand.
Three bends: the two arms should be bent, and the bending will make the strength strong; the two strands should be bent, and the bending will make the strength strong; the wrists should be bent, and the bending will make the strength strong.
Three uprights: If the neck is straight, the essence will be strengthened; if the waist is straight, the strength will reach the limbs; if the knees are straight, there will be elasticity.

2. Nine Essentials
Three Bows: The spine is opposite, the Du Vein rises; the two brachials The two bows move out quickly and fiercely; the two bows move forward and retreat smoothly.
Three drops: the shoulders should be drooped so that the energy reaches the elbows; the elbows should be drooped with the energy reaching the hands; the energy should be drooped in the Dantian to maintain it.
Three buckles: the chest is opened and the essence energy rises; the yin energy decreases and the meridians flow; the hands, feet and fingers buckle to strengthen the whole body.
Three circles: the round shape of the back is used to destroy the body; the shape of the body is round and rotates to stimulate the mind; the tiger's mouth is rounded and stretched with both strength and softness.
Three crowns: the crown on the head is a hero that soars to the sky; the crown on the hand is capable of crushing mountains; the crown on the tongue is the majesty of a roaring lion.
Three swings: the two elbows should be swinging to protect the chest; the body shape should be swinging and the body should be empty; the knees should be swinging and the steps can be turned smoothly.
Three straight ups: straighten the neck and penetrate the top of the head, the essence and energy flow upward; the posture is like straightening the waist and the energy flows through the four tips; shaking and straightening the whole body, the force reaches the four sky.
Three hugs: the courage to hold the body so that it does not cause confusion; the Dantian to hold the Qi so that it does not escape; the arms to hold the ribs to prevent the passage in and out.
Up and down, up and down: The up and down will turn over, the up and down will be horizontal, and the down will be smooth. Rise is the beginning of horizontal movement, heel is the end of horizontal movement, falling is the beginning of smoothness, turning is the end of smoothness, rising, heeling and falling turning are clearly distinguished in four characters.
Eight Comments
On the body: leaning forward and leaning back, the left side is tilted to the right, the upright side seems to be tilted, the tilted side seems to be upright, yin is yang, and yang is yin.
About the shoulders: The energy is flowing through the top of the head, the shoulders should be drooped, the two elbows are aligned, the gestures follow each other, and the body strength reaches the hands, and the shoulders and elbows are destroyed.
On the humerus: the left humerus extends forward, and the right humerus touches the ribs. It seems to be bent but not straight, and seems to be straight but not straight.
Concerning the hands: the right hand is on the ribs, the left hand is at the center, the yin and yang of both hands are stretched forward, the hands move with you, and the movement should be quick.
On the Finger: Each of the five fingers is divided, similar in shape to a hook, with a rounded tiger's mouth. It has hardness and softness. To reach the fingers, you must rely on your intention.
Discussing the strands: The left strand is in front, and the right strand is supported behind. It seems to be straight but not straight, like a bow but not a bow. When advancing, use force, and the strand is like returning to a bow.
On the feet: the left foot is straight out, the right foot is slanted and horizontal, the footwork is not disordered, the front heel is facing the shin, the two feet are rotated, and the toes are locked.
On the valley: when the valley path is raised, Qi flows through the four tips, the two legs are rotated, the buttocks are intertwined, the momentum changes with the movement, and the speed is clever and dexterous.
The theory says: Nine essentials and eight principles must be clear, and there is magical power in the transformation of life and death. The scholar understands the secrets of the mysteries and can do whatever he wants with his mind.
Four Tips
Tine tips: The claws are the tendon tips. The hands and feet are used for finger work. The hands and feet are used to grasp and step on the feet. The energy and strength are combined. Wherever the claws reach, they will perform extraordinary feats.
Bone tip: The tooth is the tip of the bone, which is useful in the bone. When cutting the teeth, it will produce hair. It is as powerful as a tiger. The function of the teeth is frightening.
Blood tip: The hair is blood tip, and the angry hair is directed at the bandits. The blood wheel is spinning, and the spirit is brave. Although the hair is small, the strength can shake the mountain.
Meat tip: The tongue is the tip of the meat. When rolled, the Qi is lowered, the eyes are opened and strengthened, the Dantian is strong, the muscles are strong, and the internal organs are enriched.
The theory says: The subtle principles of the four branches must be studied, and the spirit of courage can destroy the mountain. Ruoming's four characters are mysterious and wonderful, and the light of divine will is endless.
Exercise the muscles and bones: If you want to be healthy, you must first exercise the muscles and bones. Bones are born from energy and are connected with tendons. The stretching and contraction of tendons increases strength. If the bones are heavy, the marrow will be full (marrow is the essence of human beings). The stretching and contraction of muscles and the flexibility of bones are all part of exercise. The head is the head of the Five Yangs, and the tail is the gate of the Governor Channel. The head should be raised up, the Zhengqi energy in the tail gate penetrates the three gates and enters the Niwan (brain), the back and chest (referring to the back muscles, chest muscles) are rounded, and the Qi sinks down and returns to the Dantian (lower abdomen). Embrace the two arms, exhale from the shoulder socket, open and close, stretch and contract, the force reaches the center of the fingers (referring to the tendons in the palms). Like its shape, the dragon has the essence of the eyes, the power of the claws, the tiger is sitting, shaking its head and glaring, sitting on the crotch with the knees and waist straight. The waist turns like a wheel, and the body has a horizontal line; the two feet are hollow in the heart, gripping the ground like a drill; the two legs are shaped like a bow, and they are connected in advance and retreat; the bone spirit river turns the wheel (like the axis of a machine), and the muscles stretch like bow strings The movement of the body is as if the string is full, and the hand is like shooting an arrow; the movement is like drawing silk, and the hands are like tearing cotton; the hands and feet are strong, and the teeth and bones are strong. The shape is swaying, the head stirs the tail, the movement is like a flying dragon rising into the sky, the scissors are like a tiger coming out of the forest, the vertical leap is like an ape, the footwork is as light and graceful as a cat walking, it is a magical skill to obtain these elements.

A brief discussion on the "Twenty-Four Methods" of Xingyiquan
In recent years, Mr. Li Zhongxuan has "Wuhun" published an article on the essence of the practice, body and use of Xingyiquan, expounding the essence and meaning of the practice, body and use of Xingyiquan. It's like clearing out the clouds and seeing the sun. Mr. Li Zhongxuan's articles are simple and unpretentious, and each chapter directly points to the essence and essence of the practice, body and use of Xingyiquan. It is indeed the best work on boxing in recent years. However, Mr. Li Zhongxuan was already very old, and after hearing that he wanted to stop writing and live out his old life. However, the theory of "Twenty-Four Methods of Schooling" has been introduced, but there is no further discussion. This will upset the vast number of readers who are eager to quench their thirst. People are asking for the content of the "Twenty-Four School Laws"? I was eager to get it but didn't want to wait any longer.
I fully understand the hungry desire for knowledge among readers. It is the duty of people to help others when they are in need. However, Mr. Li Zhongxuan studied Xingyi Boxing and Xiangxiang Boxing, and he has profound attainments in civil and military studies. He wants to keep writing and not describe it. The content of the "twenty-four methods of schooling" will naturally cause uneasiness in the hearts of readers. Therefore, I take the liberty of continuing my work and briefly discuss the content of the "Twenty-Four Methods of School Correction" to satisfy the temporary hunger and thirst of the readers. That is to say, "small discussion" is not a discussion by everyone, but just a glimpse. This is a small discussion, and I sincerely invite Fang Jia from home and abroad to correct me to prove the origin.
The origin of the saying "Twenty-Four Methods of Correction"
The word "Xiao" in "Twenty-Four Methods of Correction" means correction. That is what is now called "adjustment". The twenty-four methods are the eight-character formula of Xingyiquan, which are top, buckle, round, quick, hug, hang down, bend, and straight, and there are three kinds of eight-character formulas each. (Taken from Jiang Rongqiao's "Xingyi Zaishai"). This is the origin of the theory of the Twenty-Four Dharmas. The theory of the Twenty-Four Methods of Correction is: "Twenty-four methods of correcting the body." This is the rule of body building. Only if the twenty-four methods are done correctly at all times can it be in line with the "body method" of boxing attack and defense. Ordinary people do not have the body skills after the "Twenty-Four Schools", so they do not have the ability to attack and defend in traditional boxing. This is the difference in "body skills" between the true disciples of Xiquan and ordinary people. The twenty-four methods of this school are the rules for entry and are the basic kung fu content of Shen Dharma. Former sages said: "When standing and changing in stances and boxing postures, these eight characters must be present. Therefore, nourishing Qi and accumulating strength will make the enemy and ourselves at a loss. This is what Five Elements Boxing holds." This theory shows that the Twenty-Four Methods of School are the content that Xingyi Quanmen pays special attention to.
However, the content of the Twenty-Four Methods is also found in Xiangxing Boxing, but the basic eight characters are different. Mr. Xue Dian said in his book "The True Interpretation of Xiangxing Boxing" The eight characters are: bow, hang down, buckle, round, top, swing, straight, and hold.
These eight characters are different from the eight characters of Xingyi Quanmen. If there are three of them, they are all twenty-four dharma. It will appear that among the twenty-four methods, eighteen methods are the same and six methods are different. If we look carefully at the explanations of Xingyiquan and Xiangxiquan, we can see that some words have different detailed explanations. As a result, even the contents of the Twenty-Four Methods of Schooling are stated differently. Simply put, this is the result. After careful consideration, there is actually no difference. The only difference is in the focus, but the purpose is the same, that is, by correcting the rules of the Twenty-Four Dharma, and adjusting the body method, it becomes a "Tao body, Dharmakaya". This is the origin of the theory of the Twenty-Four Methods of Schooling, and the importance of practice, practice, and application. After realizing the essential significance of the theory of the Twenty-Four Laws of School, let us look at its content. For the sake of comprehensiveness, I will try my best to explain it as comprehensively as possible, using Mr.
The similarities and differences between Xingyiquan and Xiangxiangquan
Xingyiquan is nothing more than taking the meaning from the image, that is, taking the energy of twelve animals to get the spirit of their form, and establishing the Five Elements The five elements of boxing are used to capture the intention. Together they are called Xingyiquan. That is to say, it has its form on the outside and its meaning on the inside. Although the name is five elements and the twelve shapes are unified, it is actually all-encompassing. If Gou Neng concentrates on playing with the rope, he will get the principle of transformation and restraint, the inner and outer Qi, the unity of mind and heart, and if he exerts force for a long time, once he suddenly understands it, there will be a magic that cannot be heard or seen. The effect of returning the deficiency to cleansing the marrow has the effect of causing it.
The Xiangxi boxing technique is the work of both internal and external practitioners. Use the innate truth to cultivate the body with acquired images, take in all the bodies close by, take in all things in the distance, deduce changes, and achieve the wonderful spirit of the gods. The image is due to the intention, and the intention actually precedes the image. Therefore, pictographic means: "sincerity in form and appearance in appearance". There is an image but it is not the truth at all. There is indeed a true meaning in the unintentional way. Dharma said: "If there is an image, there is an intention, but there is no wonderful meaning. Even if the image is the meaning, it is inconceivable." This is beyond the comprehension of simple craftsmen.
Although the above two paragraphs of discussion by Xingyi boxers and Xiangxiang boxers are based on different perspectives, they both establish boxing theory like the "Xiangxiang and Huiyi" in the "Six Books" and describe its essence. The meaning is indeed the same. Because of the characteristic that "boxing can embody all things without leaving anything behind", there are countless points of argument. Looking at the theories of various schools of traditional boxing, there is no one who is better than others.
The wonderful theories of the above-mentioned Xingyi boxing masters and Xiangxing boxing masters are all based on the wonderful purpose of "healthy, smooth and mixed", and they are the foundation of boxing. This is the same. That is to say, Qian Jian’s internal Qi and Kun Shun’s external appearance are the principles of “two one one one two” in boxing theory. There is no objection to this. Taking a deeper understanding, if the argument is based on the purpose of "three one one three", these two families are both "spiritual spirit, inner energy, and appearance, the three of which are integrated into one body of virtue; one and three are the essence of Yuanxuan." The stillness of listening and exploration, the movement and stillness of information processing, the movement of conformity, the transformation of existence into non-existence, the creation of non-existence, the use of the Tao of the mutual generation of existence and non-existence.”
If we expand our understanding, all the schools and types of traditional boxing are based on this purpose and wonderful meaning. It's just that each school's discussion has different emphasis and density of theory. Understanding this, when we understand the content of the "Twenty-four Methods of Correction" in the "Bazi Jue", it will have broad significance. In other words, the "Twenty-Four Calibration Methods" have practical significance for correcting body skills for everyone who practices traditional boxing techniques of offense and defense. All must use the rules of the Twenty-Four Dharmas to initially change themselves and establish the foundation of the "Dharma Body".
The essence of the specific content of the Twenty-Four Methods
In order to explain the essence of the specific content of the Twenty-Four Methods, it is necessary to take the Xingyiquan Bazijue and Xiangxingquan Bazijue Only by comparing and contrasting can the discussion be clear and the explanation clear, so as to prepare for the reference of boxing practitioners. Otherwise, any explanation will be incomplete. Therefore, only by recording the original text one by one can we discuss it more comprehensively and explain it clearly. Taking the eight-character formula as the outline and the twenty-four dharma as the aim, only in this way can the outline of the eyes be lifted up. In the original text of the recording, the first article uses Mr. Xue Dian's Bazi Jue, the second article uses Mr. Jiang Rongqiao's Bazi Jue, and then the content of my discussion. The essence of this will be explained in sequence below.
Ding Zi Jue
Xue: There is a hero on the head soaring to the sky, the hand has the ability to push up the mountain, and there is a roaring lion on the tongue, so it is called "three tops".
Ginger: Who has the three tops? The head (the back of the skull) is pushed upwards, and it looks like it is soaring to the sky. The head is the master of the whole body. When it is raised to the top, the back three passes are easy to pass, and the kidney qi reaches the Niwan to nourish the nature. The outer top of the palm has the power to push the mountain, and the Qi will penetrate the whole body and reach the limbs. The top of the tongue has the appearance of a roaring lion swallowing an elephant, which can guide the ascending kidney qi and return it to the Dantian to stabilize life. These are called the "three tops".
The top character of Dingzi Jue means to stop here, and the inner energy rises to Baihui, which is called the hero of the sky. The head is genius. Baihui is the top of the head, and when the inner energy reaches this point, it is called the top. The so-called "the tail gate is in the middle, the god is piercing the top, and the whole body is light and sharp, and the head is hanging". The Boxing Sutra says: "The head is like a thousand-stone stone, and the neck is like moving a tree around." This is the secret of the word "ding". The so-called "top of the back of the skull" means to stand up, or the top of the head where the Baihui point is placed. When Baihui puts the head at the very top, the head is upright, and when the head is raised upright, there is no lazy bone in the body. As the saying goes, "the head governs a healthy body and is the leader of the whole body. Therefore, "head hanging" is the first method of regulating the body.< /p>
The top of the hand has the rules of the hand, especially the elbow of the main attacking hand and the knee are vertically connected up and down. The elbow cannot cross the knee. At this time, the internal strength of the hand must reach the top of the fist or the top of the palm. , at this time, the hand must be as powerful as pushing a stone pillar, in order to hit someone like a nail. This is the essence of the power of pushing up a mountain in the hand. Only those with Qi that penetrates the whole body and has strength reaching the four tips can have the strength of the hand.
The tongue is lifted up and the tongue is licked on the roof of the mouth. The tongue is placed and licked on the roof of the mouth without force. The throat is open. It is called the appearance of a roaring lion swallowing an elephant. It describes the opening of the throat. Xiang also means that the Qi movement is unimpeded and can lead the internal Qi downward to the Dantian to strengthen the life Qi.
The theory of the three tops is the same. The content of "waist top" is that the waist is the handle of the bow. When it is released, the bow should be pushed forward with the waist. This point is very clearly emphasized by Guo Gumin, a master of Baguazhang. The teacher said in the song: "The back is as tight as the bottom of a dustpan, and the palms are strong enough to push back the bow." It talks about the "waist-top" body method of "stretching the bow and pushing it forward."
Kou Zi Jue
Xue: The Qi of Qi rises when the chest is opened, the Yin Qi decreases and the meridians flow, and the strength of the whole body is strengthened by kneading the hands, feet and fingers, so it is called "Three Knots".
Ginger: Three. Who do you want to buckle? If the shoulders want to buckle, the chest should be wide and the strength reaches the elbows. If the back of the hands and the insteps want to buckle, the strength should reach the hands. If the stance force is thick, if the teeth want to buckle, the muscles and bones should be tightened. This is called "three buckles".
This Kouzi formula means like pressing the mouth of the bowl down on the table. If the back is round, the chest will be flat, and the shoulders will be buckled. If the chest is empty and the abdomen is strong, the Qi will stick to the back, like the sky. If the palm of the hand is slightly concave, the back of the hand will be buckled. If the palm of the foot is empty, the back of the foot will be buckled. This is actually the secret of "the sky is round and the ground is round", not using force.
Therefore, the shoulder buckle is conducive to the rise of Yang Qi and the decline of Yin Qi. The buckle of the back of the hands and feet is conducive to the movement of internal Qi, so the whole body is strong and strong.
The shape of the tooth buckle is so. There is a theory in Xingyiquan that although the teeth should be closed, they should be closed slightly, not with force, to avoid opening the mouth and losing the spirit, to prevent excessive damage when being struck, and to avoid biting the tongue, which is just a bone. When combined, the body's bone strength is not scattered, and the body is like a rope, which can be contracted and relaxed freely.
Yuan Zi Jue
Xue: The shape of the spine is round. To encourage the body, the body shape is round and rotating, and the tiger's mouth is rounded, strong and soft, so it is called "three circles".
Ginger: What are the three circles? The back should be round, and its force will destroy the body. The center of the body should be upright, the spirit should be at the top, the chest should be round, the elbows should be strong, the heart should be slightly contracted, the breathing should be smooth, the tiger's mouth should be round, and the arms should be strong and strong, which is called "three circles".
The word "Yuan" refers to the meaning of perfection. The shoulders and back should be round, which refers to the shape from the bottom of the shoulder blades to the Dazhui point and the middle of the shoulders. In particular, the twenty-four Jiaji point between the two shoulder blades must be full to achieve round shoulders and back. The waist and back from the waist to the lower edge of the shoulder blades should be straight up and down. If there is a round shape like the bottom of a pot on the back, it is a sign of sick boxing, not a round back body technique. Therefore, the normal body method of rounding the back is conducive to the development of energy from the back.
It can also have the effect of invigorating the body with energy and attacking. This is exactly the effect of the energy in the lower back reaching the bottom of the flesh. As long as the back and shoulders are done correctly, the tail will be in the right position and the spirit will reach the top, which will naturally be achieved.
Kung Fu can only be seen when the body moves smoothly and flexibly. Only by turning and changing can you reach the artistic realm of gods. This is the "Yuan Zi Jue" of usage in order not to offend others.
The tiger's mouth should be round, which refers to the area between the base of the index finger and the base of the thumb. It should be round in meaning, not round in shape. The circle is easy to change, and its strength can reach the fingertips. It is the essence of both hardness and softness, bravery and external propaganda.
The saying that the front chest should be round means that the back should be rounded and the shoulders should be buckled. How can the chest be rounded? The sky is round and the place is round, the back is round and the chest is square. It is the same principle. How can the chest be round? How can the chest be rounded by holding the chest Qi against the back? The two elbows have full strength, which is the shape of the shoulders sinking and the elbows falling, and the shoulders support the elbows horizontally. What does it have to do with round breasts? Therefore, the theory that the chest should be round is doubtful!
The heart is slightly closed and breathing is smooth. The boxing formula says: The abdomen is loose and calm, and the energy is rising. The pit of the heart is the upper wrist of the stomach, which is the tendency of sinking. How to shrink it slightly? Moreover, the waist and navel are one yang and one yin. When yang disperses and yin gathers, the navel should be slightly retracted. The heart energy sinks to the Dantian, the chest is empty, and the breathing becomes smooth and natural. Therefore, the theory that the heart is slightly closed is also doubtful.
Bao Zi Jue
Xue: The courage to hold the body does not cause confusion, the Dantian holds the Qi without dissipation, and the two arms hold the ribs without making it difficult to move in and out, so it is called "Three Holds".
Ginger: Who is holding the three arms? The Dantian must be embraced so that the Qi does not escape, the enemy must be struck accurately, the heart Qi must be embraced, the enemy has a master, and does not change in the face of changes. The two threats must be embraced, the entry and exit are not chaotic, and there is no danger when encountering the enemy. These are the so-called "three embraces".
Hold the qi in the Dantian and keep the qi from dissipating. This means that the lower abdomen should not be inflated. If the Qi in the Dantian is formed into a ball, the body will be calm and agile. This is one of them. There is also internal energy moving around the body to assist defense. Because of the function of internal qi: "it must be divided into two aspects: sinking qi to strengthen the abdomen, penetrating the muscles and bones, and strengthening the body." And holding Qi in the Dantian means that the "spiritual Qi" does not dissipate. An ancient saying goes: "When the spirit turns around, the Qi will be solidified." On the contrary, the solid Qi is a sign of the spirit returning to the body but not dissipating outside. Only when the Qi sinks into the Dantian, refines and transforms the Qi, and then gathers the Qi to hold the Dantian, you will learn this practice!
Hold the ribs with both humers, some say hold the ribs with both elbows. Only the humerus of the front hand is covered and the tip of the elbow is downward; the ulna of the back hand is covered and the tip of the elbow is downward. Only then did he have his elbows hugging his ribs. The ribs are located at the socket of the elbow. The elbow comes out from here and returns here. The entry and exit are so simple and not complicated. It is indeed used for wonderful changes in offense and defense. "Eight Taboos" says: "Punch with your arms high and your ribs empty", which refers to the unhealthy punch of "the arms not holding the ribs".
Embracing both ribs has the same purpose as covering and holding the breasts, which is the essence of unprecedented prosperity and future prosperity. This is exactly what "the threat must come out with the mind, win with the Qi, and lead with the spirit, then it will be a perfect posture, not the flesh, the tendons, the bones." The threat Qi is transferred to the head, forming a strong momentum, the true Qi When it rises to the top of the head, if it is strong at the beginning, it will be powerful and strong; when the threatening Qi comes down to the feet, it will hesitate when it meets the ground. "Every time it rises or falls, it must always be under threat." These two ribs should be hugged to facilitate the rise and fall of internal energy, so there will be no confusion when going in and out, and there will be no danger when encountering enemies. This is the exact posture of "the umbilicus is flattened under the Qi and the lower abdomen is swollen, and when practiced it becomes one-sided". That is, the upper and lower sides of the chest and abdomen are one plane. Only then can you see the kung fu. If the umbilicus is protruding and the abdomen is swollen and the abdomen is distended, it is a disease caused by ignorance of the essence of umbilicus retraction and rib hugging. This is not conducive to the offensive and defensive use of "evade and dodge".
The heart should be embraced, and the heart is the master of the body. But what is heart-qi hugging? That is, the Qi arrives according to the heart, the heart penetrates the Qi, the heart can shine universally, the Qi is self-comprehensive, and over time, the power increases by itself, and the movement and stillness are clear, light and spiritual. The heart can illuminate itself, which is called the heart energy embrace. Only by embracing the spirit and having one's own opinion when encountering the enemy can we cope with the ever-changing situation by remaining unchanged. That is to say, the law of taking advantage of the situation remains unchanged, so that it can be used in all kinds of changes.
Courage holds the body and is calm in the face of trouble. Courage is the master of the twelve officials and the officer of the general. It is decisive. When Shaoyang is angry, when he achieves success step by step, he uses his own defensive skills as the basis. World, there is a cylinder with aura effect surrounding itself, which is courage, also known as courage. If you have this thing on your body, you will be able to listen quickly and quickly. Therefore, you can predict things before others, and you will naturally have the opportunity to take advantage of others. Naturally, you will not be in a hurry or panic.
It can be seen from this article that they are the same three hugs with different contents. However, the purpose is the same. Those who practice boxing must be able to understand the method through literature in order to have a comprehensive understanding. No matter how much you can judge the true form, your kung fu will surely improve your body. He has become an expert in boxing. If you can "know and understand by doing", you will become a master of boxing by "knowing and understanding by doing".
Chui Zi Jue
Xue: The shoulders should be drooped and the energy will go through the elbows, the elbows should be drooped and the energy will reach the hands, and the energy should be drooped in the Dantian to maintain it, so it is called "three hangings".
Ginger: Who is the one with three hangings? If the Qi is drooping, the Qi will descend to the Dantian, and the body will be as stable as a mountain. If the shoulders are drooping, the arms will be long and lively. If the shoulders are in front of the elbows, if the elbows are drooping, then the two arms will round themselves, which can strengthen the two flanks. This is called "three droops."
Hanging means sinking. When the heart energy sinks into the Dantian, it can be refined and transformed, and the energy of my true energy can be nourished. This is the correct way to start practicing Qigong. This theory is based on the secret of "nurturing Qi, forgetting to keep words, and lowering the mind to do nothing."
When Qi sinks in the Dantian, the upper part is empty and the lower part is real, like a tumbler, so the body is steady and the momentum is as heavy as a mountain.
Similar to the method of sinking Qi into the Dantian when the chest is weak and the abdomen is weak, there are two types of discussion. Boxing practitioners must learn and practice both.
To make the shoulders heavy, the shoulder seams are loosened, the shoulders droop naturally, and the arms are light and round, which means the arms are long. The strength can penetrate the elbow.
The elbows should be loose and heavy, and the humerus should be flexible. In addition to penetrating the hands with force, the elbows can hold the ribs and protect them.
Therefore, the image of slumped shoulders and drooped elbows has a state of full strength and momentum with shoulders supporting elbows horizontally. It also has the unique function of not irritating the arms. Use your hands to move or use your hands to move, and your arms are like snakes for attack and defense.
.
Ginger: What are the three uprights? If the neck is straight, then the head will be upright and the energy is flowing through the top; if the spine and waist are straight, then the strength will reach the four tips and the energy will be inflated throughout the body; if the knees are straight, then the energy will be peaceful and refreshing. Like a tree taking root, it is called "three uprights".
The essence of Ting Zi Jue lies in the tendency of the skin and joints to stretch and pull out the bones, opening them up everywhere. That is, the shape is urged by Qi, and the Qi supports the shape and grows, forming a strong momentum. That is to say, it is not a clumsy force in God. That is, the inner air fills the joint space and makes it firm.
The neck bones are opened one by one, the essence is filled with energy, running straight through Baihui, and it has its own Kung Fu artistic realm of hanging the head. The neck muscles are soft and seem to be weak without any effort.
If the hips are loosened below the waist, the spine above the waist is opened step by step, and the inner Qi is filled up step by step until the big vertebrae, then the waist can be strong and strong. Then the strength reaches the four tips.
The joints of the whole body can be opened, and the internal energy can be filled. This means that when the whole body is trembling, the body will be like the ninth heaven. The inside and outside are the same, exquisite and clear, then the energy is peaceful and refreshing, the roots are firmly planted, and there is no lazy bone in the body. If the knees are strong, the steps are steady, agile and quick, the wrists are strong and the penetration is strong. However, we must know that this "tight" formula is the result of the consistent matching of inner energy, appearance, hardness and softness. It is a theory of art and kung fu, not a "strength" explanation. Boxing practitioners must distinguish this point clearly in order to practice it correctly!
Gong Zi Jue
This Xiangtong boxing method discussed by Mr. , so it is called the "Three Bows".
This theory is the same as the three-gong theory of Sanhuangpao Chuiquan, which is "the back arch, the arm arch, the leg and foot arch", and is different from the five-gong theory of Chen Pu, Wu Pu and Tai Chi. In fact, the essence of the three-gong theory and the five-gong theory are the same.
But you must know the relationship between the root, handle and tip of the bow method. The root must be solid, the handle must be supported, and the tip must follow the method of obedience. This is the rule for all five bows on the body. And the content of the Bazi Jue has been fulfilled, and you have already prepared three or five bows.
Pull the Zi Jue
This is also mentioned in the Xiangtong boxing method discussed by Mr. The ao rotates smoothly, so it is called "three pendulums".
In ancient times, there was a saying that "one swing brings out three points", including swinging the steps, swinging the hands, and swinging the body. The pendulum is a swinging pendulum.
Swinging the elbows has the effect of protecting the ribs and chest.
The body shape should be swayed. Swinging the body shape can avoid the real situation and hit the weak position. That is, the meaning of the French style is "to dodge in the air and waste all your strength". Make the opponent's punch fall into the air.
The swing of the knees, the footwork is smooth on the ground, and the rotation is flexible and flexible without any stagnation.
The content of the above three swings is actually the content of "one swing and three points" of speaking techniques, body skills and footwork.
Min Zi Jue
Min Zi Jue is the method taught by Xingyi Quan: What are the three agility? The mind must be sharp, like an angry raccoon catching a rat, so it can adapt to changes; the eyes must be sharp, like a hungry eagle catching a rabbit, able to predict opportunities; and the hands must be sharp, like a hungry tiger catching sheep, capable of preemptive strikes. This is called the "three sensitivities" .
Sensitive means alert and quick.
The heart must be sensitive and have the ability to know people, so that it can adapt to changes. Those who know well will naturally have quick minds, that is, those who understand are wise.
To have sharp eyes, one must have the skill of "shielding one's eyes" to the three levels. Only those who are smart can have the insight to examine the moves before they are made, and know that they are about to make moves. meaning. That is the essence of the pre-inspection machine.
The hands must be nimble, as sharp as a tiger. If the claws are not visible when the claws are drawn, and the object cannot escape, then it will be able to strike first.
Those who can do these three are called "three sensitivities".
Quzijue
This is also the method discussed in Xingyiquan: What are the three bends? The two arms should be bent, and the bow is like a half moon, then the strength will be strong; the two knees should be bent, If it is bent like a half-moon, then the strength is strong; if the wrist should be bent, if it is bent like a half-moon, then the strength is close; both of them mean that it can stretch and contract freely and exert continuous force, which is called "three bends".
Jue Yun: "Seek straightness in the music, accumulate it and then release it." This quzijue tells the method of "qu" in specific parts.
The two arms should be bent like a bow like a half-moon, and the arms will be full of flexible offensive and defensive capabilities.
The knees should be bent, that is, the knees should be bent to sit on the hips, and the knees should be bent like a half moon, so that the footwork will be steady, flexible and strong.
If the wrist is properly bent, then the force can be used just right, and the force can be gathered and dispersed according to the situation.
Conclusion
This concludes the brief discussion on the essence of the "Twenty-Four Methods" contained in the "Bazi Jue" of Xingyi Quan and Xiangxiang Quan. The content of this "Bazi Jue" includes all aspects of practice, body, and application, that is, the content of "building moral body and practicing the Tao", which is quite rich. There are the rules of Shen Dharma, the rules of application and the art of Kung Fu, it can be said to be everything! Boxing practitioners must practice based on this.
However, this theory of the "Twenty-Four Calibration Methods" of Bazijue can be seen through the comparison of Xingyi Quan and Xiangxiang Quanfa. Although the opinions of each school are not completely consistent, in terms of their differences, All should be done in accordance with the law. is the best choice.
The content of this eight-character formula is suitable for practitioners of all traditional boxing methods of attack and defense. It can be used as a reference for practice, especially for beginners. They should always refer to it and compare themselves with it in order to establish the foundation of practice. .
Otherwise, you will not know the rules and regulations when you get started, and fallacies will naturally occur without you knowing it. Develop bad habits and create mistakes that are difficult to change! An ancient saying goes: "A slight difference can lead to a thousand miles of error." This is a warning to the world. If you practice according to the law from the beginning and know it well, you will be able to progress step by step and achieve success in the end!
This brief discussion of the content of the Twenty-Four Methods of Calibrating the Eight-Character Jue is actually based on the needs of today's readers. It is described based on the purpose of the sages of the Ming Dynasty who discussed boxing training, body, and use.
