How to Prune Yushu Bonsai (Explain the Pruning Method of Yushu)
Yushu, which has been raised by flower friends for several years, is not stout. On the contrary, the messy branches grow luxuriantly. Usually, it is carefully maintained by water and fertilizer, and it has not grown into an old pile of bonsai in a tree shape. This is the case with flower cultivation. Sometimes, the better you treat it, the worse it will grow. Yushu, for example, has strong adaptability to the environment and needs a lot of cultivation. As long as we do a few key points well, we can grow rapidly even if we don't need regular management. Teach you a few tricks to maintain Yushu, and soon you can develop it into a thick and beautiful old pile.

Cultivate with loose and fertile soil

Yushu has no strict requirements on soil, like ordinary garden soil, which can be planted alive, but the plants will grow poorly, because ordinary loess has no nutrients and is easy to harden, and plants grow slowly in this soil. It is suggested that when raising Yushu, don't be afraid of trouble and try to prepare loose and fertile soil.

I usually grow flowers with my own soil and seldom buy nutritious soil. I went directly to the mountain to collect some pine needle soil or other humus soil. After coming back to dry for a few days, I added a small amount of garden soil and cinder. If you feel that the nutrition is not enough, add some fermented sheep manure. The prepared flower soil is porous, breathable and nutritious, and can be used by ordinary flowers.

Yushu doesn't need to be watered often.

When raising Yushu, you don't need to water it too often. The stems and leaves of this plant are fleshy, contain a lot of water and have strong drought resistance. If there is too much water, it can only make plants sprout a lot of new branches and leaves, and consume a lot of nutrients on the growing branches and leaves.

Of course, in the vigorous growth period, there should be no shortage of water. As long as the soil on the surface of the basin soil is dry, it should be watered immediately. Excessive drought in the basin soil will also affect the normal growth of plants.

What fertilizer grows fast?

Planting Yushu in potted plants is mainly to appreciate its leaves and trees. Some Yushu trees that are too young are difficult to blossom. Before reaching flowering age, you can add more nitrogen fertilizer to them, so that the plants can grow sturdily as soon as possible and make the trees more beautiful.

During the growth of Yushu, you can give it more fermented organic manure, such as sheep manure and chicken manure, and bury some in the pot soil every month. The application of organic fertilizer should be fully fermented and decomposed, otherwise it will easily cause root burning. The reason why organic fertilizer is recommended is that it can not only supplement nutrients to plants, but also make the soil more porous and breathable, reduce hardening and be more conducive to plant growth.

Lack of light is easy to grow white.

Yushu, raised by many flower friends, has slender leaves and many messy branches, which are very thin and thin. Many of them are caused by plants not being exposed to the sun at ordinary times. Yushu itself is a plant that likes light very much. Although it is relatively tolerant to shade, it can't be kept away from light for a long time, otherwise, the plants are prone to overgrowth of branches and leaves, consuming a lot of nutrients, and the plants are still not prosperous.

When maintaining Yushu potted plants, you can put them directly in sunny places and keep plenty of sunshine every day. Just do a little shading in summer, including autumn and winter, and let it see more sunshine, so that its leaves are fuller and its plant type is fuller and more symmetrical.

Trim the messy branches and thicken the trunk.

Many Yushu branches raised by flower friends are messy, but they are reluctant to prune, which not only makes the plants lose their ornamental value, but also consumes nutrients all the time, making the trunk unable to grow thick. Therefore, it is necessary to prune Yushu as soon as possible.

In normal maintenance, the growing lateral branches in the middle and bottom of the trunk should be cut off, and once new buds grow, they should be erased in time to prevent them from growing into new branches to compete for nutrients.

For the crown and dense branches, appropriate thinning should be carried out to make the whole crown have good ventilation and lighting, and maintain a good tree shape, so as to improve the ornamental value, reduce nutrient loss, make plants grow thick and thick, and cultivate old pile bonsai.
