Nose includes external nose, nasal cavity and paranasal sinus. The skeleton of the nose consists of cartilage on both sides. The upper, rear and both sides of the nasal cavity are surrounded by four pairs of left and right sinuses. The nasal cavity and sinuses are located between the anterior cranial fossa, the middle cranial fossa, the oral cavity and the orbit, separated by a thin bone plate. Therefore, severe external nose injury can be accompanied by trauma to its surrounding structures, and nasal diseases can also spread to neighboring organs.
