The first paragraph of Article 24 of the Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund stipulates and restricts that housing provident fund can be withdrawn from four acts: purchase, construction, renovation and overhaul. Obviously, the house decoration does not meet the conditions of "overhaul".

Overhaul projects are mainly suitable for severely damaged houses, and housing provident fund can be withdrawn only if one of the following conditions is met:

1, houses with serious damage to the main structure and local danger;

2. Houses with serious roof leakage need to be uprooted and redone;

3. Houses in need of repair;

4. The whole house needs to be replaced or renovated (including water supply, sewage discharge, ventilation, heating, etc.). );

5. Houses that need seismic reinforcement.
