What unit is the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University?
The predecessor of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University was Zhengzhou District Health Center, which was founded in Xingyang, Henan Province in 1949. In 1954, the name of the hospital was changed to Kaifeng District People's Hospital. At the end of 1957, the hospital moved to Kaifeng. In 1963, the hospital was renamed as the Affiliated Hospital of Kaifeng Health School. From 1963 to 1969, the hospital has become the largest and prestigious general hospital in Kaifeng. In 1969, the school was cancelled, most of the hospital staff and medical equipment were moved to Lushan Hongqi Hospital, and a small number of staff were merged into Huaihe Hospital or other units. In 1973, the school was restored, and the outpatient department of Kaifeng Health School was established, which was equipped with internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, traditional Chinese medicine, ent, pharmacy and so on.
