Planting method and maintenance method of aloe
1, Potted plant selection: Pottery pot, try not to choose porcelain pot or plastic pot, because porcelain pot or plastic pot has poor air permeability, which is easy to cause aloe plants to rot. Specific operation: mix the same amount of humus soil and coarse sand into soil, and spread 2-3cm thick carbon residue, stones, broken bricks, etc. Use the bottom of the basin as a drainage layer, and then lay a layer of flower soil after paving.

2. Dig out the mother plant of Aloe vera and the newly grown plants around it with roots and soil. Tap the dug aloe gently, so that after the root soil falls off, the new plant will be cut off from the lower stem of the mother plant, and the redundant roots will also be cut off. When planting, the newly planted aloe plants should be directly placed in the flowerpot for righting, and then filled with flower soil and lightly compacted until the flower soil reaches 2/3 of the height of the flowerpot. After the flower soil is filled, gently lift the new plant to promote the extension of the root system, and then continue to fill the soil and tamp it until the flower soil reaches 2cm along the basin edge. When watering, the dripping water at the bottom of the flowerpot shall prevail. Changing pots in April every year is beneficial to the survival of aloe plants.

3. Water and fertilize: water is not needed for the first week, and then water the conjunctiva of aloe root wound at one time. Aloe vera grows vigorously in spring and autumn, so it needs to be watered on the leaves every 5-7 days. The temperature is high in summer, so the evaporation of water is large, so water should be watered every 2-3 days. Spray a small amount of water on the leaves every 15-20 days in winter. The optimum growth humidity of aloe is 45-80%. Aloe vera grown at home does not need fertilization, as long as it is watered every 15 days during the growing season. If aloe grows luxuriantly, the decomposed diluted fertilizer solution can be applied every 15 days.

4. Illumination temperature: Place it in a well-ventilated and well-lit place. The temperature is high in summer, so you should shade yourself properly to avoid being burned by strong light. The optimum growth temperature is 20-30 degrees, and the winter temperature is above 10 degrees. If it is below 5 degrees, it will be frostbitten or frozen to death.
