How to choose paint for fishermen's homemade floats
Many people who do their own bleaching want to find out how to find a good paint variety. I'll open a post here to explain what I drew myself.

Paint types: primer, colored paint, topcoat and bleached tail paint.

1. Primer: I used a two-component repair paint for automobiles (it should be painted, but it can be done without baking). As for the two brands, the effect is similar, but the fluidity of the paint in the newly opened bottle is better than that in the old one. Different brands of paint curing agents are the same. My teacher told me that I use it now. I used to think that the dosage of curing agent should be the same as that of paint, but in fact. Judging from the paint bottle I got, the amount of paint should be one liter, and a group may cost about 100 yuan. If you want to find a small amount, you have to go to the garage to find acquaintances or spend money to buy from them. I used polyester paint for bleaching at first, but later I found it was too hard and inelastic, so I didn't use it because it cracked easily. At the same time, I am also looking for suitable paint everywhere. There was a time when I even used epoxy adhesive instead of paint! Later, I saw some introductions on the Internet that car paint could be used. The students who asked for some from the auto repair shop found that it was really good, with good gloss and elasticity (peacock feather paint can be bent to a great extent) and good paint film hardness. After using it for a long time, no crack was found, and the degree of water absorption was not particularly tried, but from the point of view of use, the water absorption should be very small. This kind of paint is most suitable for bleaching paint. Of course, it doesn't mean that car paint has no shortcomings. It is said that its proportion is a bit high. When I use it at home, its thinner (I use benzene-free tinea water) is toxic and has an odor. I wear a mask with an exhaust fan when painting, so it's hard to say how uncomfortable it is when it's hot.

2. Color paint: model paint for simulation and Gundam model (I use water-based paint from Tamiya, Japan). Nail polish, oil painting or other pigments are added into varnish to make color paint, water-based pen and oil-based pen (I write "painting", and use 0.3 pen to "draw" on the polished floating body); Except for varnished ones, they are not afraid of being dissolved. When drawing, you can't have brush strokes. Sometimes the diluent will dissolve. When painting, you can use a very soft watercolor pen to touch a lot of pigment, and first cover it with a thin layer of 502.

3. Top coat: same as primer.

4. Tail paint: 7-8 yuan has mail order in fishing gear shops, and some fishing gear shops also sell it. The brands are Fuji and Taixing in Taiwan Province Province.

Glue type:

1.A-B glue: epoxy resin, which dries slowly, but has good strength and elasticity. It is best to use two pieces of glue for peeling pores and feathers. I use Dongfeng all-purpose glue, called Shineng brand. There are also some AB adhesives that are not epoxy resin, mostly quick-drying and rarely used for bleaching. These glues can be found in hardware stores or chemical stores.

2. dry glue water: Yu Wang 502 is the most commonly used glue. Remember to melt the glue mouth with fire and seal it in a cool and dark place after use. Some fishing friends said that some imported quick-drying glue was better, but I didn't find it. I do bleaching by winding and straightening the feet and tails of the floating body, using 502 drops directly at the gap and the head and tail, allowing them to penetrate and bond, and dropping more drops at the head and tail, which is convenient for shaping when polishing.
