The wound grew a white film. Should it be removed?
There is a white layer on the wound. If it is scab formed by wound healing, it cannot be cleaned at will, but if it is abnormal secretion, it needs to be cleaned and erased, as follows:

1. Normal phenomenon of wound healing: If the white material on the wound is relatively fixed and dry, it is mostly because blood condenses on the surface of the wound during the healing process to form a white false membrane, which has a protective effect on the wound and is a normal phenomenon, which is conducive to wound healing. Removing the white false membrane is easy to cause repeated damage to the wound healing place, so don't wipe off this white material easily.

2. Bacterial infection: If the white material of the wound is moist, sticky, red, swollen and itchy, then the wound is considered to be infected by bacteria, and the white material on the surface is suspected to be necrotic tissue or purulent secretion of the wound. This situation needs to be cleaned up in the white material. It is suggested to go to the hospital for debridement, then use erythromycin ointment and mupirocin ointment for follow-up treatment, change the dressing on time, keep the wound dry and avoid involving the wound.
