It takes 15 working days to review the rescue project for congenital structural malformation, because the policy of benefiting the people, initiated by the China Foundation for Intervention and Rescue of Birth Defects under the guidance of National Health Commission Maternal and Child Department, needs to be reviewed many times.

The rescue project of congenital structural malformation aims to provide medical expenses subsidies for 74 kinds of congenital structural malformations in seven categories, such as nervous system, digestive system, reproductive system, urinary system, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system congenital malformations and severe structural malformations of facial features, for children aged 0- 18, so as to promote timely treatment of children and reduce the occurrence of children's disabilities.
