Mainly engaged in functional preservation surgery of various head and neck tumors and comprehensive treatment of advanced head and neck tumors, especially good at surgical treatment of laryngeal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer, various neck and parotid tumors. He has served as a senior visiting scholar in top international cancer hospitals such as M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in the United States and Memorial Si Long-Kettering Cancer Hospital. At present, he is a member of the Head and Neck Surgery Group of Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Professional Committee of Laryngolaryngeal Rehabilitation of China Anti-Cancer Association, a member of the Expert Committee of Head and Neck Tumors of China Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, a member of Pan Asia Pacific Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, and a member of the International Head and Neck Tumor Epidemiology Collaboration Group.
