CNC turret punch mold classification

There are various types of molds. Here are just a few special molds:

1. Multi-hole mold

A multi-hole mold means that one mold can be punched at the same time. For punching plates with multiple holes, the efficiency can be improved several times. When making a porous mold, you should ensure that the minimum distance between holes and the edge of the plate cannot be less than twice the thickness of the plate. If the distance is too small, it will cause distortion and deformation of the plate, affecting the processing effect. The connections between them are also prone to breakage.

2. Louver and bridge molds

Louvres molds and bridge molds are punching and stretching molds and are commonly used molds for cabinets. The picture below shows the schematic diagram of these two molds.

3. Counterbore molds and beading molds

Countersinking dies and beading dies are extrusion molds. The rib pressing mold is mainly used to press small arc grooves on the flat surface to equal the reinforcing rib effect on the plate surface. The processing is simple and beautiful. The picture shows the effect of the counterbore mold and the bead mold.
