20 17 August 25th? Friday? Torrential rain
A trip in the summer vacation, because the itinerary was temporarily changed, I couldn't buy the best high-speed rail ticket, so I had to detour Guangzhou for one night and then return to Zhengzhou.
I have never been to Guangzhou before. In my distant impression of Guangzhou, when I was a child, the villagers couldn't help but marvel at the flowered clothes and fashionable ankle pants that my father brought me from Guangzhou on business trip. Besides, he also talked about the breakfast in Guangzhou Teahouse, and then compared our monotonous corn porridge with the corn porridge day after day. Alas, there should be a prosperous paradise on earth, right?
Although this was just a "one-night stand" with Guangzhou, a picky person like me didn't want to make a hasty decision, so it took a long time to choose a hotel online. Is the night scene closer to Guang Zhouta or is it closer to South Station when you leave the next day? But the hotel near Chimelong Zoo is very emotional, and Ulysses at the bedside is exactly what I want to see recently! It should be good to go to the pedestrian street. Maybe you can go shopping for a while when you have only a few hours free. .......
Hesitate.
It was already past ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived, and the hotel we finally chose was in a small street near Zhongshan Eighth Road. After check-in, except for the small space, it is comparable to a star-rated hotel in other aspects. When the card is inserted into the door, the curtain will open automatically, and the music shower will be used when taking a bath. A fresh check-in experience made the children very excited. The key is that the bed is very comfortable. We didn't waste more than 600 kilometers just to sleep in this city!
My husband and I went out hand in hand to find food. The lights in the small street are very dim. Men and women passing by the roadside are wearing vests and slippers and speaking languages that we don't understand. The apartment building on the roadside has an old-fashioned fence door. After it is opened, there is a small space, and then the building. In such a nostalgic place, the waiting lights in the building can easily make people homesick, miss their mother, and even more hungry.
There is a rice rolls store in the corner. It's already midnight, but there are still many customers and the air conditioning is not enough. The hot air in the street rushed in through the half-opened door. An uncle who works the night shift, a Mohican teenager who brushes his mobile phone, and two white shirt elites who whisper to each other ... The business hours are from 7 am to 2 am, and the little girl who orders food speaks Mandarin. This should be a street shop that is very popular with local people.
Going out these days, rice congee is extremely rare. Everyone drank a big bowl first, and tasted various dishes, such as Silla Suhanzhai, honey barbecued pork and shrimp rice rolls. Compared with rice rolls's expensive high-end tea restaurant, this street shop perfectly explains what food is, which is cheap, and makes me forgive the heat in Guangzhou in minutes. The comfort of sweating after a big meal is almost in tears!
The next day, I slept in and got up and went to rice rolls's to have porridge. My children chose more than a dozen kinds of beef porridge from salty porridge. I want to make my old man's stomach comfortable. I'm used to drinking rice porridge and I want to try it early. I stole a bite from the children's bowl, and I think it makes sense for Guangzhou people to drink salty porridge. In such a sultry morning, salty porridge is more likely to arouse the appetite after a night's sleep.
There are large and small children's clothing wholesale markets nearby, so we went shopping. The operator here said that clothes could not be found in Guangzhou or anywhere else in China. I met many African women in the market. The clothes are not amazing, but they are dazzling and the price is really much cheaper. Bought a fairy princess dress for the child and left.
People in the street are in a hurry, yelling at young mothers who don't pay attention to their children, tramps who wear trousers and don't shave, tramps who wear cloth shoes, and middle-aged skinny people who walk out of 20 yuan's big sale shop ... Passing by one by one, the aunt who sold fruit last night is still there, and the cherries in the bamboo basket are still bright red. She picked up the bottle at hand and spilled water on the fruit.
I chose the most popular place in Guangzhou to spend my first time. I'm anxious and upset.
But I'm not disappointed.
I am familiar with this life scene. I can buy the brand of mineral water that I often drink in the convenience store downstairs of the hotel, and the food in my hometown can also be met in a corner of this city. Maybe I should go to the really prosperous part of this city, to Tianhe City, or to see the "small waist". But now in a new city, the similar prosperity is not so attractive, and there is a lively life everywhere. What I see in my eyes is the lively normal life of every city in China, which shattered the romantic imagination I imposed on big cities when I was a child and made me awake-life is roughly like this, and the difference is not in the city.
It will not float around because of the width and depth of Peking University. The streets are full of elegant and exquisite office ladies and ambitious young elites. With the same pace of running for life and tired face, you feel more and more "strange city, familiar corner", just like sometimes, you will find a road with the same name as the street where you live.
We packed our bags, went to the nearby subway station, walked to the second floor, and waited in line, just like you've been here 800 times, and it's easier to find a place to stay if you know which bus to wait outside.
The car smells of sweat. After the door is wide open, every eager step can't see Chun Xue's faint ideal, which is real life.
