How to prune oleander
The pruning steps of oleander are not complicated. Generally, in the second year of plant growth and colonization, it is necessary to remove the core and wipe off the top buds. But when the flowers are in full bloom in July every year, the useless branches can be cut off, and the top of the leaf nodes of the trunk also needs to be cut off, and then trimmed after flowering.

1, coring treatment

Every time we cut and sow oleander, when planting this plant the next year, we need to take coring treatment to erase the buds at the top of oleander. If the yellow branches are too long, we need to cut them off properly, which can effectively prevent the oleander from growing white and promote more flowering.

Step 2 prune branches

Nerium indicum blooms at 6 ~ 10 every year. When oleander is in full bloom in July, branches without flowers can be cut off, and the tops of trunk leaves also need to be cut off. After half a month, new buds will grow, which will make bloom more colorful.

3, secondary pruning

The flowering period of oleander in autumn is over, and the second pruning is needed. It is necessary to cut off failed flowers and useless branches in time, and then trim them according to the shape of three forks and nine tops, which can promote oleander to obtain better nutrients in the soil, increase its ornamental value and make oleander grow more vigorously.

4. Precautions In fact, oleander can also be cut into mushrooms, which have various ornamental values. Every time you prune oleander, you must be careful not to prune it in rainy days. After pruning, chemical agents should be sprayed to maintain astigmatism, so that the wounds left by pruning can heal faster.
