After China's entry into WTO, the apple industry is facing great challenges. In order to meet the ever-changing market demand, only fruits produced according to standardization can reach the quality and scale required by the market and meet the conditions of international trade exchange. Therefore, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Ministry of Agriculture have issued national standards (GB) and industry standards (NY) on apples.

(1) * * * People's Republic of China (PRC) national industry standard ① Technical specification for apple production (NY/T44 1-200 1). Approved by the Ministry of Agriculture of People's Republic of China (PRC) on February 12, 2006 and implemented on May 18, 2006. This standard specifies apple production techniques such as orchard selection and planning, planting, soil, fertilizer and water management, plastic pruning, flower and fruit management, integrated pest control, fruit harvesting, etc., and is applicable to apple (excluding small apples) production gardens.

② Virus-free apple seedlings (NY 329- 1997). Approved by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Agriculture on June 5438+0997, 2009, and implemented in February 20091May 998. This standard specifies the quality requirements of virus-free apple seedlings, and is applicable to all apple seedling producing areas and cultivation areas in China.

③ Apple appearance grade standard (NY/T 439-200 1). Approved by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Agriculture on February 1 2006 and implemented on May 1 2006. This standard specifies the appearance grade and inspection method of fresh apples, and is applicable to the grading of fresh apples (excluding small apples).

④ Pollution-free food apple (NY 5011-2001). This standard is applicable to the cold storage of the following varieties of fresh apples: medium-ripe varieties (Marshal, Red Star, Red Crown, Ruby and Golden Crown); Late-maturing varieties (Jiguan, Qinguan, Japanese brocade, sweet banana, green banana, Daguoguang, Guoguang and Fuji).

This standard stipulates the definition of the origin of apple seedlings, quarantine objects, disease prevention and control, breeding materials that should be quarantined, propagation of healthy seedlings, epidemic prevention measures in nursery and mother garden, strengthening management of mother garden and nursery, timely prevention and control of other pests and diseases, inspection and quarantine of nursery and mother garden, and visa requirements.
