1, uniform light
Clivia is a kind of plant with long leaves on the left and right, and the leaves grow irregularly, which may be caused by uneven illumination during the growth and development. In the vigorous development period, the flowerpots are rotated every 7~ 10 days, so that the leaves on one side are born in the sun and the leaves on both sides are evenly exposed to light.
2. Manual distribution of goods
For irregular blades, the easiest way is to trim them by hand. Use a clean, disinfected and sterilized sharp pruning knife to cut the protruding Clivia leaves on one side to a length similar to the other side. Or use a small clip to clamp the crooked leaves together and fix them, and after a period of time, the growth trajectory can be restored.
3. Cardboard is used for straight clamping, and some grooves are cut according to the appearance of Clivia leaves. Every leaf of Clivia is fixed in a groove, forcing Clivia to grow according to the position of the groove in the cardboard grinder. In this way, the effect of forcibly adjusting the leaves of Clivia to the conventional development track is very rapid and obvious.
4. Proper temperature control
In fact, the change of temperature will also have a certain growth effect on the leaves of Clivia. The surrounding temperature changes too fast, too high or too low will reduce the growth activity of leaves, and one side of leaves is stunted and looks irregular. The most suitable temperature is 15~25℃.
