But the prices in northern Xinjiang are not cheap at all, especially the level of tourism consumption. The tourism expenditure in northern Xinjiang can basically be comparable to that in the first-tier cities in Beijing, Guangzhou and Guangzhou. A full meal in northern Xinjiang costs at least 30-40 yuan, which is more expensive near the scenic spot. Because the dishes eaten in Xinjiang are larger, the price will be more expensive. A plate of mixed noodles costs at least 20-25 yuan, and the price will be higher if it is in a scenic spot. In Kanas Scenic Area, I saw that such a small dish of scrambled eggs with tomatoes was actually sold in 48 yuan, which was not delicious. If you want to play in the peak season and eat meat in the scenic spot, the price is 55-65 yuan starts.
Tickets for local scenic spots are not very cheap, especially some well-known scenic spots with relatively large areas. Plus the interval tickets, they are basically around 150 yuan, and some even cost two or three hundred yuan. So, if you want to go to Xinjiang, you should make sure that you have enough travel funds. The travel expenses in Xinjiang are still relatively large. If you don't want to go to southern Xinjiang but want to buy specialties, dried fruits, souvenirs and the like, I recommend you to go to Yili in northern Xinjiang, which is cheaper.
