The difference between small end and big end
the difference between the small end and the big end is that the bytes are arranged in different order. Big-Endian and Little-Endian are terms used to describe the storage order of multibyte data in computer architecture. In the "big-end" mode, the high-order bytes of data (that is, the numerically more important part) are stored at the low address of memory, while the low-order bytes of data are stored at the high address of memory. This storage method is consistent with people's habit of reading numbers, that is, from left to right, from high to low. On the contrary, the "small-end" mode stores the high-order bytes of data at the high address of the memory and the low-order bytes of data at the low address of the memory. This storage mode is related to the design of some processors and computer architectures.
