What is the function of PTFE coating?
The Chinese name of PTFE is polytetrafluoroethylene, which is called "non-stick coating" or "easy cleaning material".

1. This material has the characteristics of acid resistance, alkali resistance and resistance to many organic solvents, and is almost insoluble in all solvents. Polytetrafluoroethylene has the characteristics of high temperature resistance.

2. Its friction coefficient is extremely low, so it can be used for lubrication, and it is also an ideal coating for easily cleaning the inner layer of water pipes.

3. PTFE is produced by free radical polymerization of PTFE. Industrial polymerization is carried out by stirring in the presence of a large amount of water to disperse the heat of reaction and promote temperature control.

4. Organic peroxide can be used as initiator, and redox initiation system can also be used. Each mole of tetrafluoroethylene releases heat during polymerization, and perfluorosurfactant must be added during dispersion polymerization.

5. The non-stick coating melts and flows in the baking process to form a non-porous film, which has excellent chemical stability and non-stick characteristics, and the highest use temperature is 200℃.

6.PFA has higher continuous service temperature of 260℃, stronger rigidity and toughness, and is especially suitable for anti-sticking and chemical resistance at high temperature.
