Duanzhou District, belonging to Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, is located in the west of central Guangdong Province, on the north bank of the middle and lower reaches of Xijiang River. It belongs to the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone and is the political, economic and cultural center of Zhaoqing.
