Experiments on human and chimpanzee offspring: why don't five women dare to try again after participating in the experiment?
Human and chimpanzee offspring experiment: After five women participated in the experiment, the experiment could not be continued because of the conditions, and they were afraid to try again.

Since Darwin founded the theory of biological evolution, most people think that human beings are the product of biological evolution, that is, modern people and modern apes have the same ancestor.

Tracing back to ancient times, the development of human society in various continents began to go their separate ways, and different races were formed based on regions. At that time, the most obvious situation was that China, Central America, the southeastern United States and other regions domesticated wild animals and plants at an early stage, which also gave all ethnic groups in these regions a leading edge.

As we all know, human beings originated from early apes, and also changed from monkeys to people. However, just when people know their past lives, there are more opinions and ideas about the origin of human beings.

First, the origin and development of mankind

Theoretically speaking, the process of human origin can be divided into three stages: the ape stage, the ape stage and the man who can make tools. The later period includes two periods: ape-man and homo sapiens, which are divided into early and late periods.

1859, the British biologist C.R. Darwin published the Origin of Species. Guided by the outline of natural selection and survival of the fittest in this book, Darwin explained the development law of biology from low to high and from simple to complex. The development of human beings is also elaborated in this book.

187 1 year, Darwin listed a lot of evidence in his book The Origin and Sexual Selection of Human Beings, which strongly explained that human beings evolved from extinct apes and clearly pointed out that human beings and modern apes have the same ancestor.

With the research of biologists from all over the world, some conclusions have been made for the development of mankind.

It turns out that apes originally lived in tropical and subtropical forests in groups. Later, in order to find food, some apes descended to the ground, gradually learned to walk upright on two feet, liberated their forelimbs and learned to use tools such as stones and sticks. Finally, they developed into hand-made tools. At the same time, physique, including the brain, has also developed accordingly, and various characteristics of human beings have emerged.

At school, we have all heard the saying: "The difference between people and animals lies in whether they can use tools correctly." And the difference between humans and apes is exactly the same.

In the development of ancient apes, the part that came down from the tree became the ancestor of human beings, and the part that stayed on the tree became the ancestor of modern apes. In other words, humans and apes have the same ancestor-the ancient ape.

With the deepening of the research on the origin of human beings, people's guesses about human beings have become bolder. Incredibly, in an open-minded foreign country, experiments have been carried out on the descendants of humans and chimpanzees.

Second, the shocking experiment suddenly stopped.

The so-called post-experiment between humans and chimpanzees is actually to send human sperm into chimpanzees and give birth to offspring, that is, "orangutans."

According to "New Scientist" magazine, in the 1920s, a Soviet scientist named Ivanov used the opportunity of medical examination to inject chimpanzee sperm into human body, so as to achieve the purpose of fertilization and reproduction of hybrid offspring.

However, the place where the Soviets conducted ape hybridization experiments was not in the Soviet Union, but in Guinea. Guinea was a colony at that time and had no human rights. In other words, in Guinea, a colonial country, the Soviets can conduct all kinds of experiments without scruple.

After that, Ivanov found five women to do experiments and injected them with sperm, but it didn't work. These women not only did not give birth to "orangutans", but also had no other adverse reactions.

In addition to Soviet scientists, other countries have also conducted this experiment, but they all stopped after all. In fact, there are many problems in this experiment. Due to many problems, the experiment had to be stopped. It can also be said that since then, no one in the world has tried.

What is the problem that restricts the smooth progress of the experiment and stifles this bold experiment in the cradle?

Third, the conditions do not allow, the experiment can not continue.

(1) is a serious violation of ethics.

In nature, the hybridization of animals has produced some new species, which is an extremely common phenomenon. Some of these hybrid animals have even been accepted by us, just like the most common mule, but the concept of "man and beast" is still far away for people.

No matter what western countries think, it is unacceptable in China's ideological cognition. In our cognition, the combination of human and orangutan is actually a serious violation of ethics. It's not our moral kidnapping, it's just that the idea is a bit overwhelming.

(2) knowing that it is difficult to succeed, you can only be forced to give up.

According to relevant data, humans and chimpanzees are indeed close relatives, with 95% genetic similarity and 99% identical DNA coding sequence. But on chromosomes, there is a big difference between them. Chimpanzees have only 22 pairs of chromosomes, while humans have 23 pairs.

In other words, there are essential differences between humans and chimpanzees. After long-term changes and development, although humans and chimpanzees have the same ancestor, they are also very different. However, this difference makes humans and chimpanzees two completely different species.

However, it is precisely because of the difference of this pair of chromosomes that the embryo dies in the process of development and division, and at the same time, the individuals after reproduction also have great defects in health. For example, the well-known 2 1 trisomy syndrome is caused by chromosome. In a word, there are great obstacles in the crystallization of humans and chimpanzees, which also means that this experiment is difficult to succeed.

Since this is an experiment with many problems and it is difficult to succeed, why should we continue? Therefore, unconsciously, all countries stopped continuing to study this experiment.

(3) The experiment failed many times, so there is no need to continue.

Theoretically speaking, it is unlikely that humans and chimpanzees will hybridize, especially in the scientific community, and there is no unanimous opinion or clear conclusion about the success of hybridization. In this way, things become complicated, that is, some people think that it can be achieved by scientific means, but others think that the experiment can't be successful.

With the progress of experiments in various countries, there is no good progress in experiments. Even the brave fighters passed the experiment of five groups of women, but they didn't get any conclusions. None of the five women who were injected with chimpanzee sperm by Ivanov at that time changed, let alone gave birth to "orangutans".

To a great extent, this experiment has been failing. No matter which country carries out this experiment, there is no record of success. Perhaps it is because the experiment is difficult to succeed that all countries in the world simply choose to give up, that is, there is not much need to continue this bold experiment.

(4) This experiment is meaningless.

Hybrid rice has increased rice yield and solved the problem of food and clothing for people in China. On the other hand, what is the significance of hybridization between humans and chimpanzees? Even if the experiment is successful, what substantive problems can be solved?

In fact, the answer is no, which means that this experiment of ape hybridization is meaningless. If you want to ask the original intention of human beings to put forward the idea of ape hybridization, it may be caused by curiosity. If we continue to study this difficult experiment out of curiosity, it is actually not worth the candle.

Conclusion:

After tens of thousands of years of development, there has been an essential difference between human beings and apes, that is to say, human beings, as advanced animals, have long lagged behind other animals and can no longer catch up with human steps.

Today's human beings have stood at the top of the food chain, and the height reached by human beings is beyond any species. Therefore, only by continuous progress and development can human beings lead everything in the world forward and act as the "master" of everything.
