Second, the country of Fusang (myth)
Hibiscus,
Plant name. Shrub. The leaves are oval. The corolla is very big, with red and white. It is planted in the south of China. It blooms all year round and is a famous ornamental plant.
Li Mingzhizhen's "Compendium of Materia Medica" has three eyes: "Fusang is produced in the south and is a different kind of hibiscus. Its branches are weak, its leaves are dark green and slightly astringent like mulberry. Its flowers are red, yellow and white, and the red one is particularly expensive. Called Zhu Xi. "
Xu Mingwei's poem "I have heard of people who have bought hibiscus flowers" reads: "Remember the 50 frost in Tangjiang River, the flowers are long and the hibiscus is rotten." .
Wu Zhenfang's Miscellaneous Notes on Lingnan in the Qing Dynasty: "There are hibiscus flowers everywhere in central Guangdong, ranging from mulberry, red, reddish and Huang San, to peony, which blooms at dusk and falls again from March to October."
Fusang, an evergreen shrub of Malvaceae, is also known as Zhu Jin and Fosang, but it is often called red flower intuitively. It has beautiful tree shape, lush foliage, long flowering period, continuous seasons, huge flowers and bright colors, and is one of the important flowers and trees in Asian landscaping.
Although it is not only the national flower of Malaysia and Panama, but also the state flower of Hawaii, Hibiscus is originated in China and has a long history of cultivation. As early as the Han Dynasty, Shan Hai Jing recorded that "there are hibiscus flowers on the Tang Valley", while the Jin Dynasty's "Southern Vegetation" recorded that "its flowers are deep red like hibiscus, so it is called Zhu Jin" and "deep red with five flowers".
There are many varieties and colors of hibiscus. Petals can be divided into single petals and compound petals, and colors can be divided into pink, yellow, blue and white. Among them, the crimson double petals are slightly like peony, which is relatively rare, so it is called Zhu Jin Peony.
The early cold of Xiting is like early spring, and the red flowers lean against pedestrians.
All the poor trees have withered, only countless branches are reborn and brilliant.
Qing Yan is exposed by clouds of clothes. When you are fragrant, you walk through the dust.
The famous garden refused to compete for color, and the fire burned Fusang Yebin.
Fusang, also known as Zhu Jin Peony, is native to southern China. I prefer warm and humid climate to cold and frost. I don't like shade. I should grow in a sunny and ventilated place, and I don't have strict requirements on the soil, but I grow best in fertile and loose slightly acidic soil, and the temperature in winter is not lower than 5℃.
● Propagation: Cutting and grafting propagation are commonly used. Cutting can be carried out except in winter, but the survival rate is high in rainy season. One-year-old semi-lignified cuttings are the best, the length is 10 cm, the terminal leaves are flat, and the cuttings take root about 3 weeks after cutting. Grafting is mostly used for double-flowered varieties that are difficult to cut, either by branch grafting or bud grafting, and the rootstock is single-flowered hibiscus.
● Cultivation: potted hibiscus flowers need to change seasons and be trimmed and shaped every spring. Fusang is more fertilizer-tolerant, applying 1 time every month during the growth period, and applying 2-3 times more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer during the flowering period. Insufficient light makes the buds fall off easily, and the flowers become smaller and the color is dim. Nanjing area must be moved indoors in winter.
● Pests and diseases: leaf spot, anthracnose and sooty blotch often occur, and 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder can be sprayed 1000 times. Pests include aphids, red spiders and moths. Can be sprayed with 10% pesticide emulsifiable concentrate for 2000 times.
● Application: Mulberry flowers are bright and colorful. In the south, they are scattered in front of pavilions, roadside and walls in Chi Pan. Potted hibiscus is suitable for living room and porch decoration. Hibiscus, also known as Hibiscus, is native to China and India. Like warm and humid climate, suitable for sunshine, but also a little tolerant of cloudy, dry, wet, barren soil and cold.
Alias safflower, red hibiscus, moon red, wood flower and rooster flower.
It comes from Zhu Jin, a hibiscus plant of Malvaceae, and its roots, leaves and flowers are used as medicine. Roots and leaves can be harvested all year round, and flowers can be picked, dried or used fresh in summer and autumn.
Sweet and flat in nature.

Myths and legends:
Fusang countries are Mexico and Japan.
Discrimination: Fusang and Japan.
The word "Fusang" can refer to Japanese in modern times, but in the history of China, Fusang refers to a place in Central America, and now it is mostly considered to refer to Mexico. In the non-modern China books, Japan mostly replaced Fusang with Japan.
The mythical tree name
"Shan Hai Jing Overseas East longitude": "There are hibiscus on the Tang Valley, bathing for ten days, north of Blackpool." Guo Pu's Note: "Fusang, Muye."
Fusang: "There are many trees and leaves like mulberries. And Shen, a 2000-foot tree elder, 1000 sophomore. Trees are born from the same root by chance and are more dependent on each other, hence the name Fusang. "
"Peaceful Magnolia" Volume 955 quoted the old title Jin Guopu's "Xuan Zhong Ji": "The tallest person in the world, Fusang has no branches and no trees, which leads to the sky, bends down and bends down, and leads to three springs."
Tang Li Bai's "A biography of Meng Shaofu on behalf of Shoushan": "I will rely on my sword to hang a bow to help mulberry."
Fusang, also known as "Mulberry" and "Mufu". Wooden names in myths and legends. Born in the east, he lived for ten days. Shan Hai Jing? Overseas East longitude ""There are hibiscus on the Tang Valley, bathing on the 10th, north of Blackpool. Living in the water, there are big trees, with branches for nine days and branches for one day. "
The sun rises from the valley, bathes in the salty pool and blows on the hibiscus. This is called morning light. When you climb in Fusang, you will do it from scratch, and the instructions are very clear. As for Qu 'a, it means Dan Ming. As for Zeng Quan, it means flea food. As for Sangtian, it's called eating. As for Hengyang, it is a corner. As for Kunwu, it is right in the middle. As for the bird time, it's called a small return. As for the valley of sorrow, it means feeding. As for the female subject, it's called the great return. As for the deep risk, it is called high. As for Shi Lian, it is called Xia Zhong. As for the injury to spring, it is called the county car to stop his daughter and stop his horse. As for the Imperial Garden, it means dusk. As for the dream valley, it means unconscious. -Huainanzi
The connection between Fusang and the sun was established when observing the sun. "The next nine days, the last day." This means that "ten days" (10 days of work) take turns, which coincides with He's tenth birthday. "One day, another day" means that the sun rises in the east (Tanggu and Fusang) and sets in the west (Yugu and Ruomu), and bathes in the market at night. Although the sun is the same, it is another day. The concepts of "all in Wu" and "jade ancient" come from clans. Yangshao culture pottery has sun-dried bird patterns, and Suzaku and Suzaku belong to clans. Huainanzi said that "there are birds in Japan and China", that is, birds with three legs. "Kitano Sutra" "Kuafu overreached himself and wanted to pursue the Japanese scenery and catch it in Yugu." Kuafu is the highest symbol of sun worship. The Classic of Mountains and Seas truly records the achievements of Emperor Yan. The name of the Yugur nationality comes from the totem of "Yu"-Kuafu (monkey). Of course, it didn't necessarily begin with Emperor Yu Wang, but it probably existed before him. Huai Nanzi: "If Muruo is built in muxi, it will take ten days." Because if the wood is where the sun sets, it will all fall in ten days.
Legend has it that the sun rises under the hibiscus flowers and blows the branches, because it is called the source of the sun. Also refers to the sun.
Dong Jun: "I want to go east, according to my threshold." Wang Yi's note: "Bathe in the Tang Valley at sunrise, brush hibiscus on it, climb from the beginning and shine everywhere."
Tao Jinqian's Leisure Fu: "Sadness helps Mulberry Ming, but choose to destroy the scenery and hide the light." Kun School Note: "Fusang, the legendary place of sunrise. This refers to the sun. "
Ming Mausoleum Han Yun's poem "Guan Shanxue" said: "Fusang flies to the golden jade, and the underground water flows through the empty valley."
Yan Qing Guangmin's poem "Looking at Huashan": "Tianji Che Xiao Fu Sangyong, Shi Ma Xiaoming Cui Wei."
Fusang became an important feature of China ancient culture. Fusang represents the world outlook of China ancestors. Not only in China, but also at sunrise and sunset. And spread to the whole world, the concept of East Pole and West Pole combined with the migration of ancestors, Tanggu became a real land of Mexico. The hibiscus tree is evidence of the above argument. The hibiscus tree in Sanxingdui is 3.85 meters (3.94 meters) high, which is the highest in the world. The Maya's humanoid hibiscus tree is consistent with the word "Zi", which shows that Central America is indeed the land of hibiscus in Tanggu-Hibiscus Kingdom, and the Mayans have hibiscus totems. Oracle Bone Inscriptions, the bronze inscription "Yi" means "Ruo", which is the crown of the word "Sang". "Yi" is the first person and is also placed in the sub-form of ancestor worship. "Yi" and "Ruo" mean that there is no doubt about totem ancestors. Zuo Zhuan owned the country for five years, Ding Gong built the capital of Chu in six years, and Zhao Gong had an uncle and grandson in ten years. Many characters in the pre-Qin period have their own forms of "slave girl" and "slave girl", which indicate their names and places, which are the same as "if". Tancheng is China's Fusang country, and its people should be Fusang people. The hibiscus tree in Gou Jian's book is a direct reflection of China's ancient world outlook.
Biography of Fusang in Liang Shu: "Tattooing country is more than 7,000 miles northeast of Japan ... Dahan County is 5,000 miles east of Tattooing country ... Fusang country is located in the east of Dahan,, and the land is in the east of China, so it is named because there are many Fusang trees."
It is clearly written here that tattoos and Dahan are in North Asia, and Fusang is in America, "the East of China", which is very accurate. The argument that Fusang is Japan simply doesn't make sense. Hui Shen's trip to the United States and the knowledge he brought are the clearest and most direct descriptions of the United States in official history. Some people say that Xianhe and Zheng He have been to America, which may not be credible, but we can firmly believe that since the human society entered the Neolithic Age, China people have never stopped traveling to and from America. From Canada to South America, Chinese characters, copper coins, costumes and statues representing China are widely distributed along the Pacific coast, and the cultural relics around Mexico are the most abundant. As the core area of the highest civilization in America, Fusang Country embodies the essence of ancient China culture. Today, if you go to Chihuahua and Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, you will definitely have a deeper understanding of Shan Hai Jing!
