Will cashmere sweaters get bigger and bigger?
Whether cashmere sweaters will cross depends mainly on the purity, quality and processing technology of cashmere. High-quality cashmere raw materials, even 100% cashmere, will not be deformed for several years after high-density weaving. It won't get bigger or smaller. For example, cashmere sweaters in Zhenbei and Erdos are like this. There is no absolute answer to this. Cashmere sweaters do shrink after washing, but they will return to their original shape after a day or two. Plus sometimes it will be torn inadvertently, and it will definitely be bigger, but it doesn't matter.
What if I buy a cashmere sweater?
1. First, you can wrap it in a clean pure white towel and steam it in a steamer for ten minutes. After taking it out, gently shake it to loosen the fiber, then carefully pull it into its original shape and size, lay it flat on the back of the sheet or screen, dry it in a ventilated and cool place, and then it can be restored to its original state. Washing cashmere sweaters will gradually lose their original luster. When washing, add a few drops of vinegar to continue bleaching, and the cashmere sweater will restore its original luster.
2. Then cut it into the size and shape of the original sweater with cardboard. It is best to sand the incision with sandpaper to avoid snagging the sweater. Put the sweater on the cardboard and fix the bottom with several hangers. Then steam iron all parts of the sweater repeatedly with an electric iron, and take it off after it is completely cooled.
3. Heat the shrunk cashmere fiber with a steam iron, and then stretch it with both hands while it is hot. The fiber can't be stretched much at a time, so it needs to be heated and stretched repeatedly. Know the total length of stretching before stretching, so as to know the stretching length of each segment. After all stretching, we should measure the total length with a ruler. If the length is not enough, we can repeat it. Pay special attention not to oversize, and finally adjust it appropriately.
4. After drying in the shade, you can iron it with a medium-temperature steam iron (140℃ or so). The distance between the iron and cashmere sweater is 0.5~ 1cm, so don't press on it. If you use another iron, you must wet the towel.

It is difficult for consumers to distinguish cashmere from wool, but acrylic fiber and cashmere are very different, and careful people can distinguish them. Acrylic fiber is lighter than cashmere, which is not smooth and waxy, and it is not as natural and soft as cashmere after coloring. In addition, acrylic fiber emits black smoke and has a special smell when burning, and the ash after burning is spherical; Cashmere, on the other hand, has the smell of burning hair and turns into powder after burning.
The choice of cashmere sweater depends on your budget, the quality grade of cashmere, how you plan to use it and where you buy it. High-quality cashmere is a good material for making clothes because it can last for many years.
