Mazda rotor hybrid power system patent picture exposure adopts rear wheel drive.
Car change news? Recently, overseas media exposed the patent drawings of Mazda rotor hybrid power system, which adopted the form of rear wheel drive. Although it is uncertain whether this hybrid system will be mass-produced, foreign media speculate that this hybrid system may be installed on the mass-produced version of RX-Vision.

Mazda previously used an extended-range hybrid system with rotor on MX-30, but the patent of this exposure is a hybrid system in which rotor directly participates in power output. It is reported that this rotary engine will adopt a 3-rotor structure.

This power system will be installed on the production version of RX-Vision. As a concept car, the overall design of RX-Vision looks very futuristic. The large-size mesh adopts Mazda's family-style design concept, and its low shape, radical body line design, exaggerated dynamic components and sharp open-corner headlight design all bring more future genes.
