Protect the law and supervise the altar
There are many statues of Wang Lingguan in the Taoist temple, with red faces, full beards, high faces, open mouths, fangs, armor and whip, facing the mountain gate. There is a golden eye on his forehead, which can distinguish the authenticity and protect the town gate. Therefore, Wang Lingguan's position should be the Taoist protector and the god of altar supervision. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403- 1424), Zhou Side, a Taoist priest in Hangzhou, was able to preach the law of spiritual officials and pray for blessings, which was obvious to all in Beijing. Zhou Side also built the Hall of Heavenly Commanders and the Hall of Master Sazu in the west of the Forbidden City. Wang Lingguan was the Heavenly Commander of the Fire Hall, the first of the 26 Heavenly Commanders. During the reign of Xuande (1426- 1435), it was changed to the concept of great virtue, and 18 years old was sacrificed.

Because the temples dedicated to Wang Lingguan are generally at the entrance of the Taoist temple, Taoist priests worship Wang Lingguan first after entering the door. Only the people in Fujian called Wang Lingguan a heavenly general and built a temple for him, called the heavenly general temple. Wang Lingguan's birthday is June 13 (also June 23rd), and Taoist priests keep coming into the temple to worship Wang Lingguan.
Long en Zhen jun
Wang Lingguan is known as "Long En Zhen Jun". During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403- 1424), Taoist Zhou Side followed the Northern Expedition of the Ming Dynasty, predicted the fortunes of his ancestors with the "Lingguan Law", gained ancestor worship, and ordered him to build the "Tianjiang Temple" in the capital. Tianjiang Temple was built in the 18th year of Yongle (1420). Tian Shu of Yushu Fire House in the temple is the new Taoist Wang Lingguan. Tianjiang Temple is located near the Forbidden City, which shows that Ming Chengzu attached great importance to "Lingguan Law". During the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty (1426- 1435), temples were regarded as great virtues. In the Ming Dynasty, Xuanzong named Sazhenren as a "true gentleman who worships goodness", Wang Lingguan as a "true gentleman who cherishes goodness" and Erzhenjun became a symbol of "Lingguan Law". During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty (1465- 1487), the Dade Temple was expanded and renamed the Epiphany Palace. As the grand palace view of the capital, Xianling Palace became an altar of fasting in the period of Xuanzong, Yingzong, Daizong and Xianzong. According to legend, Wang Lingguan once studied the Daofa of Fu Shu, a trump card, and Daofa of Zhang Jixian, Wang Shichen and Lin Lingsu, indicating that Lingguan Daofa inherited the tradition of "Lei Fa". "History of the Ming Dynasty" said: the true king of Chongci is a trump card, and the true king of Long En is Wang Lingguan, the heavenly general of Yushu Firehouse. Ming Niyue's "Qingxi Man Draft" Volume 11 said: "The law of real people is what Wang Lingguan did; Wang Lingguan's method is obviously due to the surrounding side. " In the Ming Dynasty, when Zhou Side promoted Lingguan Law, there was a saying that "the God of Yuanyang said that the train king Lingguan was true". Wang Lingguan, the King of Long Enzhen, is regarded as a Vulcan by the people, and Wang Lingguan, the King of Long Enzhen, is generally enshrined in the Temple of Fire.
