The lethality of misfortune to a person depends on two factors, one is the degree of misfortune, and the other is the tolerance for misfortune. Among them, the latter is more critical. Therefore, the ancient Greek philosopher said: it is the greatest misfortune to be unable to bear misfortune. Suffering misfortune is a kind of ability, which comes from a strong will, but also a kind of consciousness, from the dignity of being a man, from the wisdom of keeping a distance from external encounters and the belief of transcending secular encounters.
