Jincheng is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Jincheng Street is affiliated to Lin'an District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located to the north of the eastern part of Lin'an District, bordering Qingshanhu Street in the east, Banqiao Town in the southeast, Jinnan Street and Linglong Street in the south, and Jinnan Street and Linglong Street in the northwest. It is connected to Taihuyuan Town and to the north is Taihuyuan Town and Gaohong Town. The total area under its jurisdiction is 143.11 square kilometers.

In the Tang Dynasty, it was the Shijingzhen barracks and later changed to Yijincheng. In January 2008, Democratic Village of Qingshanhu Street, Daluo Village of Hengfan Town, and Nichuan Village of Taihuyuan Town were included. On September 15, 2017, Lin'an District of Hangzhou City was officially established, and Jincheng Street was transferred to Lin'an District. As of June 2020, Jincheng Subdistrict has jurisdiction over 15 communities and 4 administrative villages. The subdistrict office is located at No. 223 Linshui Road, Wusuli Community.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jincheng Street was 772 million yuan, an increase of 28.7% over the previous year. Among them, local fiscal revenue was 368 million yuan, an increase of 40.2% over the previous year, business tax was 125 million yuan, value-added tax was 305 million yuan, and corporate income tax was 278 million yuan. The per capita fiscal income is 6,899 yuan. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers was 15,160 yuan.
