As of February 2024 19, Yonsei University ranked 76th in qs World University in 2024, the third university in Korea and the Asian university ranked 12. The history of Yonsei University began on April 1885 10, which was the birth of the first modern hospital in Korea-Guanghui Hospital. The education department developed from Dan Xin School to Yan Xi College, and later upgraded to Yan Xi University. 1957, Yan Xi University and Reims Medical University were formally merged into Yonsei University, which was the first Korean school to exchange international students.
