How long will capsule contracture appear after breast augmentation with prosthesis?
Prosthesis, as a foreign body, will be wrapped by substances secreted by the human body after entering the body, resulting in an envelope, that is, any tissue of the human body will react to the foreign body. The human body or any other living thing has an immune system and a defense system. When any virus or bacteria enters the body, the body's defense system will respond and devour and destroy it. After such a large silica gel body is stuffed into the body, the human body will ooze around it, and many defense systems such as white blood cells, phagocytes, cellulose and macrophages will be mobilized and destroyed. However, such a large silicone human body cannot be destroyed. If it can't be destroyed, it will form an equilibrium state and form a capsule to wrap the exudate and separate it from other tissues. After separation, the capsule and tissue will form a peaceful state. If the capsule is stimulated, such as poor shape of silica gel, poor peeling or small cavity, hematoma, bacteria on the prosthesis, or oil oozing from the prosthesis, the capsule will become thicker and thicker, leading to capsule contracture. Therefore, after breast augmentation with prosthesis, the human body will not necessarily produce capsule contracture, but it will certainly produce capsule. When the capsule hyperplasia thickens to a certain extent, contracture will occur. Contraction is also divided into many grades. Grade I, II, III, IV, III and IV are the heights of capsular contracture. Grade Ⅳ is a very high degree, and patients will have a very painful and uncomfortable state. The specific capsular contracture depends on the degree of capsular stimulation.
