After sprouting in spring, make the branches with the most vigorous growth at the top stand upright as trunk extension branches and cultivate them into central trunk. Under it, 3 ~ 4 branches with proper direction and a distance of 10 ~ 20 cm are selected as the main branches, and all the other branches are cut off to save nutrition. When cutting in the winter of the next year, the extension branch of the middle trunk is kept 60cm shorter, and the direction of cutting buds is opposite to that of the previous year, so that the trunk is straightened and the extension branch is produced at the upper end as the middle trunk; Cut the selected main branches by 40 ~ 50 cm, and all the cut buds remain external buds or lateral buds, and cultivate the lateral branches. In the third year of winter cutting, the extension branches of the central trunk are left with 60cm short joints, and the lower part is left with two second-layer main branches, which are 70 ~ 100 cm away from the first-layer main branches and randomly arranged with the first-layer main branches to make full use of space and sunshine. In the fourth year, by analogy, we choose the third layer of main branches, cut short the side branches every year, cultivate the side branches at all levels, and expand the crown. At the same time, long branches with no use value are pulled out or cut off again and again every year, forming short and medium branches and flower buds; Short and medium branches should not be cut short, so as not to cut off a large number of flower buds and affect the ornamental effect. When pruning adult trees, attention should be paid to cutting off over-dense branches, diseased branches, cross branches, overlapping branches and dead branches, draining or cutting off long branches, and cultivating them into branches, and timely retracting and rejuvenating the thin and long branches. After the aging of the branches, it is advisable to choose the branches that grow strongly at or near the base to replace them, and gradually remove the old branches.
