But whether the alar needs to be cut in or out depends on the type of alar hypertrophy of everyone. If you insist on cutting your nose because you are afraid of leaving scars, regardless of the hypertrophy of the alar, it will sometimes cause an unnatural nose shape, and it is easy to affect the width of the respiratory tract because of excessive retraction.
