My baby boy has no power when urinating. Is there something wrong with his "small penis"?
Why do boys imitate girls in squatting on the ground to urinate? Why did he wet his pants so many times? Is all this a simple prank or a physical discomfort? As a mother who doesn’t know much about the physiological structure of her baby boy, how should she face this difficult problem?
Today I’m going to educate mothers on some things about baby boys’ “small penises”!
There was a news report that the boy was unable to urinate and often wet his pants. The mother did not know the situation and often scolded the child. In order to avoid wetting his pants again, the boy could only squat down to urinate, and was constantly being harassed by his friends. ridicule, which causes great harm to children's psychology.
Actually, this is all caused by problems with the baby’s “small penis”!
Under normal circumstances, the urethral opening of a male baby should be opened at the head of the glans. When the baby urinates, the "little penis" will stand up and the urine will be ejected. But if the urethral opening is not on the head of the glans, but somewhere on the ventral side of the penis, and the penis cannot stand straight when urinating, but bends downward, it is a congenital malformation. Medically It's called hypospadias.
When a boy with hypospadias urinates, the urine flows out instead of ejaculating straight out. He can only urinate while squatting like girls, and often wets his pants.
Hypospadias is the most common congenital malformation of the urinary system. The occurrence of this malformation in children is mainly related to various genetic and environmental factors, such as fetal testicular androgen abnormalities and some problems encountered during fetal development. Some experts also believe that this may be caused by some plastic products interfering with the endocrine function of the human body.
There are four types of hypospadias. Parents can check whether their babies have these conditions:
The first type, coronal groove type: This type is more common, and the baby The "small penis" is relatively flat, and the foreskin is split on the ventral side. It generally has no symptoms and does not affect physiological functions.
The second type is penis shape: the further back the urethral opening is, the more obvious the deformity will be. This is due to the underdevelopment of the urethral cavernous body distal to the urethral opening and the contracture of the fascia on the ventral side of the "little penis" causing rural curvature, which may seriously affect the child's urination and physiological functions.
The third and fourth types: In addition to the above-mentioned deformities, the scrotum is also divided into two halves from the middle, and the shape is somewhat similar to the private parts of a female baby.
When bathing the baby, mothers must carefully check whether the baby's "penis" is too short, not curved, or the testicles are not in the correct position. Pay special attention to whether the baby will pee when peeing. I don’t wet my pants often.
If you have the above situation, you must be highly vigilant, and it is best to go to the hospital for a check-up. After all, the health of the "little penis" is also the baby's top priority!
