The predecessor of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University was built in In 1931, the original Gongyuan Hospital under the Kaifeng Iron Tower was originally named "Hospital of the National Henan University Medical College". It was a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research.
Hospital Introduction
The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University, also known as the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, was founded in September 1928. Its predecessor was the former Affiliated Hospital of the National Medical College of Henan University. It moved from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou in 1958 and was renamed the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College. In 1985, it was renamed the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical University. In 2000, the former Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou University of Technology and Henan Medical University merged, and the hospital was officially named. It is the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.
The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University is one of the few large-scale hospitals in China that integrates teaching, scientific research, medical treatment, prevention, health care and rehabilitation. It has strong treatment capabilities, international exchange capabilities and high scientific research One of the most advanced modern general hospitals. Currently, the hospital has 3,820 actual open beds, with a daily outpatient volume of about 6,000. There are 3,269 employees in the hospital, including 291 with senior professional titles, 361 with deputy senior professional titles, 462 lecturers, and 42 doctoral supervisors, including 243 doctors and 313 masters. The only clinical medicine postdoctoral mobile station, first-level clinical medicine discipline doctoral authorization point, and first-level clinical medicine master's degree authorization point in Henan Province are all located in our hospital.
