He Lun is currently Chairman of Medical Aesthetics and Beauty Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Dean of Laser Beauty Center of Nanjing Zhongtian Dermatology Hospital, Director and Adjunct Professor of Medical Aesthetics Research Center of Peking University Institute of Medical Humanities, Director of Medical Aesthetics Research Institute of Southeast University, Honorary Dean and Professor of Southeast Beauty College, Master's Tutor of Applied Psychology, Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Plastic Surgery Association, Honorary Chairman of Jiangsu Medical Aesthetics and Beauty Branch, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Medical Beauty Magazine, Chinese Journal of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Standing Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Cosmetic Medicine.

1992 edited the first cosmetology dictionary in China, 1998 edited the first cosmetology psychology in China, 1999 edited the first cosmetology university textbook in China. He has compiled more than 40 monographs and textbooks on medical aesthetics, cosmetology and medical humanities, and published more than 50 papers. Among them, the representative works are Fundamentals of Cosmetic Medicine (1999), English-Chinese Dictionary of Cosmetic Medicine (2002), Biomedical Ethics (1998), Introduction to Medical Humanities (1999) and Introduction to Clinical Bioethics (2000)
