How long can I find my nose crooked after rhinoplasty?
Causes of crooked nose after augmentation rhinoplasty;

1. Most of the curved nose after prosthesis implantation is because the contact surface of silica gel on the nasal bone is inconsistent with the shape of the nasal bone and leans to one side.

2. The separation gap is too large during rhinoplasty, which leads to the displacement and deflection of the prosthesis.

3. Very few people have rejection to rhinoplasty prosthesis.

The wound did not recover after rhinoplasty, which was caused by external force collision.

5. The implanted rhinoplasty prosthesis is not carved correctly, and it is skewed after implantation.

Correction method of prosthesis deviation;

Correction method 1: the upper end of the prosthesis is slightly skewed, which can be corrected by squeezing the prosthesis to the opposite side within two weeks after operation, and fixing it with gauze rolls on the skewed side, which can often be corrected. If it cannot be corrected, the prosthesis can be corrected by the suture principle of dimple reconstruction. For those with long postoperative time or obvious deviation, the original tunnel needs to be corrected again. If the cavity separation is too shallow, a new cavity can be separated under the capsule of the original stent prosthesis and the prosthesis can be implanted again.

Correction method 2 of crooked nose after rhinoplasty with prosthesis: Prosthesis infection after rhinoplasty often needs to be taken out to cure the infection. For those with swelling and effusion at the root of nose, but the incision and the whole body are in good condition, local irrigation and systemic anti-infection treatment can be taken. If the infection involves an incision or the infected focus shows signs of piercing the skin, and the whole body is in poor condition, the prosthesis should be taken out in time, and the wound should be cut and drained for systemic anti-infection treatment. Generally, the infection can be controlled in 3-5 days, and then plastic surgery can be done as appropriate.

Correction method 3: thin skin of nasal tip and broken skin of prosthesis: the treatment method is to find redness of nasal tip early after operation, and it has not improved for several days. Prosthesis should be taken out as soon as possible, and it is not advisable to take it out when the skin is obviously congested, dark purple or broken. At this time, the appearance of the nasal tip may be damaged or scarred. Even if the prosthesis is removed before the skin is damaged, it is not appropriate to implant it immediately. It should be observed for 3 months, and then consider whether it can be implanted again according to the situation.
