If there are repeated urinary tract infections, two reasons should be ruled out based on the patient's condition:
1. The patient has had ureteral reimplantation. Is hydronephrosis serious after reimplantation? ? If the hydronephrosis worsens, consider replanting the ureter to ensure smooth drainage. If necessary, further examination must be performed to determine whether the replanted ureter has smooth drainage.
Some patients have severe ureteral reflux after ureteral reimplantation, which can also cause obvious hydronephrosis and repeated urinary tract infections.
2. The patient now has difficulty urinating and has no intention to urinate. Considering the history of surgery, he should check whether there are any corresponding problems with urination, such as hardening of the bladder neck. He should check whether there is too much residual urine in the bladder and residual urine in the bladder. Too much can easily cause infection, and in severe cases, it can cause hydronephrosis. Cystoscopy can be performed if necessary.
As the saying goes, running water does not rot. Repeated urinary tract infections are often accompanied by urinary tract obstruction or reflux problems, so it is recommended that you check the above two aspects to clarify the reasons.
