" Qin Shihuang and his party went to Mount Tai to worship heaven and set up a big stone tablet on the top of the mountain. Some people say that when Mount Tai is angry, there will be dark clouds, black rain and mountain torrents, and people and animals will be washed away. As soon as the gang ran to Wusong Pavilion, they heard a thunder and it rained cats and dogs. Qin Shihuang is pampered, not to mention flash floods. The heavy rain is unbearable and is about to be washed down the mountain. At the critical moment, I suddenly found a big pine tree on the roadside. The powerful emperor quickly knelt in front of the tree, clutching the trunk with both hands, muttering to himself and praying for the blessing of the tree god. It rained quickly and collected quickly, and soon stopped. Qin Shihuang really thought that the tree god was protecting the driver, so he added the pine tree that saved him as "five senses pine". According to Records of the Historian, Qin Shihuang climbed Mount Tai, got caught in the rain, and took refuge under a big tree. He was awarded the title of "Five Doctors" for his meritorious service in protecting drivers. But later generations mistakenly thought it was five. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Gu Song was destroyed by thunderstorms. During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, when Ding Zaobao Feng, an imperial envoy, rebuilt Mount Tai, he replanted Wukesong trees in the territory, two of which are alive and well. They have been called "Qin Songting Xiu" since ancient times and are one of the eight ancient scenic spots in Tai 'an.
