1, stator
Stator consists of stator core, stator winding and frame. Stator core and stator winding are the parts that induce potential and current, which are called armatures. Stator core is a part of the magnetic circuit of synchronous generator. In order to reduce eddy current loss, the iron core is usually made of silicon steel sheets coated with insulating paint on both sides. The iron core is provided with evenly distributed slots embedded in armature windings; The stator winding is composed of coils wound with high-strength polyester paint-covered copper wires, and the coils are embedded in the iron core slots according to certain technological requirements. When the three-phase winding of the equipment is installed, it should be symmetrically embedded, and the electrical phase angle is 120. The frame is the support of the generator, which is used to fix the armature and support the rotor together with the front and rear end covers. An outlet box is arranged at one side of the base, and a wiring board is arranged in the box to lead out the communication power supply.
2. Rotor
Some main generator rotors are mainly composed of rotor core, pole winding, motor shaft, bearing, electric fan, communication exciter armature and rotary rectifier. The rotor of the main generator is of salient pole transition type, and the rotor core and the four magnetic poles of the yoke are stamped as a whole. The outer surface of the rotor pole core is equipped with a damping cage (running in parallel), which makes the generator with unbalanced load have outstanding functional indexes and can reduce the overvoltage on the rotor winding in the dynamic process. A centrifugal electric fan is installed on the rotor.
3. Stator part of AC exciter.
The stator of the exciter is used to generate magnetic field, and the iron core is made of low carbon steel plate and has multiple magnetic poles to improve the speed function of the exciter. The communication power from the exciter is rectified by the rotary rectifier and supplied to the communication synchronous generator for excitation. The stator of communication exciter is mainly composed of stator core, stator coil and protective shell. The shape of the communication exciter stator is shown in figure 10-8.
4. Armature of AC exciter
The shape of the armature of the communication exciter is shown in figure 10-7. The exciter rotor is an armature, coaxial with the main generator. Armature winding adopts three-phase star connection, and the neutral point is not led out, but there are four lead wires connected to the rotary rectifier (essentially three lead wires, only one phase is divided into two lead wires).
5. Rotating rectifier
The rotary rectifier is fixed on the armature bracket of the exciter (90kW and 120kW generators are placed outside the excitation end cover), and it has six silicon rectifier elements, three of which are fixed on a semi-circular conductive plate as anodes, and the other three are fixed on another conductive plate as cathodes. The two groups of components are insulated from each other and installed on a common insulating ring, that is, silicon rectifier equipment. The communication power comes from the armature of the communication exciter, and its DC output line passes through the deep hole in the middle of the shaft and is connected with the rotor coil of the main generator.
