Network celebrities formed a group to complete Elf Ears. When will "appearance anxiety" stop?
Recently, a cosmetic project called "Elf Ears" suddenly became popular. Overnight, many online celebrities tried to become "elf ears" by injection, so that others could see the existence of its ears from the front. Online celebrities posted recommendations on social media platforms, saying that ear plastic surgery can effectively modify the face shape. She looks only 18 years old, which triggered a heated discussion among netizens.

In recent years, not only novel niche cosmetic projects such as ear block and calf muscle block are quietly popular, but also the development of medical beauty is changing with each passing day. It seems that no place is perfect, and medical beauty can be done anywhere. It is true that everyone loves beauty, and the pursuit of beauty and figure is really understandable. Plastic surgery is to spend your own money to buy happiness for yourself, and it is also a free choice of individuals, which does no harm to society and others.

However, when this over-touted beauty propaganda appears more and more in public view, it will arouse public vigilance. The original intention of plastic surgery is to serve those who are born deformed or disfigured by accident. It is an operation to help people with obvious appearance problems regain their confidence. However, at the moment when the concept of "face value first" is popular, more and more people just want to cater to the aesthetics of others and continue plastic surgery at the expense of health or others, which has become a morbid state.

We are noncommittal about personal choice, but don't publicize and recommend some "possible but unnecessary" plastic surgery. Because the result of publicity and recommendation will be that more and more people will be affected, mistakenly thinking that this kind of aesthetics is popular aesthetics, and then they will be anxious about their appearance, make their own pua, and then compete for appearance and figure under this aesthetic. At the same time, when some online celebrities recommend plastic surgery projects, they only point out the positive changes in appearance, but conceal the possible risks and sequelae. It is easy for many people who do not understand the plastic surgery industry to blindly follow suit and finally have to embark on a long road of repair.

To sum up, we should be alert to the increasing publicity of this kind of niche deformity aesthetics, maintain the ability of independent thinking, and not be influenced by it. The society should also advocate the aesthetic view of healthy beauty to prevent this morbid aesthetic from becoming the mainstream and affecting more people.
