1, cutting:
The best time is before the germination of new buds in spring; Select fully developed annual branches, cut them into 5- 10 cm long, cut off the lower leaves, leave 2-3 green leaves on the upper part, insert them obliquely into river sand or loess seedbed, and irrigate or water them in time after insertion for shading. The temperature is 20-25℃ and the relative humidity is 85%-90%. After two months, they can take root and transplant. The cuttings can be treated with rooting powder before insertion.
2, high pressure:
High-pressure method is to select 1-2-year-old stout branches from the mother tree in spring, cut the bark at about 1CM below the place where it wants to take root, or cut it from the lower side, with a length of 6-9 cm, then smear the wound with rooting powder, tie it tightly with a plastic bag from top to bottom, or cut one with a larger plastic bottle and fix it at the cutting place. Bags or bottles should be sealed to avoid exposing soil. Then water is poured, the substrate is kept moist all the time during the cultivation process, and after rooting in autumn, the mother plant is cut off for maintenance.
Tools: branch scissors, sharp blades, plastic bags, plastic bottles, shovels or shovels.
