2. Fruit protection and shoot control: In summer, shoots will compete with young fruits for nutrition. Through reasonable and effective control of new shoots, more nutrients can be distributed to fruits, thus effectively controlling the germination of summer shoots. When the fruit-branch ratio of sugar orange reaches above 10, summer shoots will be effectively inhibited. In other words, as long as the fruit protection work is in place, summer shoots are naturally suppressed.
3. Shoot control: For citrus trees with moderate tree potential and few summer shoots, 7 ~ 13 middle and weak shoots are left at the top, and part of endogenous auxin is consumed by the top advantage, so as to control the growth of the whole summer shoots.
