Wuhan University Medical Vocational and Technical College is located on the bank of the famous Yangtze River at home and abroad, south of the majestic Yellow Crane Tower. It was founded in 1939 and was formerly known as the "Hubei Provincial Wuchang Hospital Nursing School". In 1999, it was renamed Hubei Medical University Vocational and Technical College. It was approved by the Provincial Department of Education for the first time to undertake higher vocational education. In 2000, after the establishment of the new Wuhan University, it was renamed Wuhan University Medical College Vocational and Technical College. In December 2010, the Hubei Provincial People's Government and Wuhan University reached an agreement, and the college was fully and substantively merged into Wuhan University. In July 2011, it was renamed Wuhan University Medical Vocational and Technical College with the approval of Wuhan University. ?
Wuhan University Medical Vocational and Technical College has successively opened majors in nursing, stomatology, oral technology, radiology technology, medical imaging, pharmacy, pharmacy, nutrition, rehabilitation medicine, nursing and cosmetology. Among them, nursing and dental majors have been evaluated as provincial-level outstanding majors by the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Health. There are more than 2,000 students on campus. The long-term majors include nursing, dental medicine, and rehabilitation therapy technology. ?
The full-time teachers at Wuhan University Medical Vocational and Technical College all have a bachelor’s degree or above, of which 30% are doctoral and master’s degree holders, and 60% are teachers with senior professional titles.
