Are you looking for a platform to Firenze? When someone asked me this question in Italian at the Rome Railway Station, I finally understood why "Florence" was also called "Emerald Green". Florence is obviously an English transliteration, and I thought jade was just the reputation of Zhimo Ge. When the Italians said this, they immediately understood it, just like the Italian pronunciation! This is definitely the translation of Xindaya! That's great.
I took the slow train from Rome Central Railway Station to Emerald Green. At first it was mainly to save money. Although the express train takes one and a half hours and the local train takes four hours, the ticket price is half cheaper, saving 20 euros. I gradually realized that this was definitely a wise decision. The sea of sunflowers makes me want to jump off the train and embrace nature! The sun is shining, the blue sky sweeps away the haze, and clouds of fertile white clouds are floating like cotton candy. Green trees, yellow fields, camel-colored stone houses and green hills are mixed with kitchen smoke. No wonder there is a saying that Tuscany is sunny. How can the color be so clear? So charming? I am completely intoxicated at the thought of wine, food and olive oil in this area! Tuscany's beauty really deserves its reputation!
The Quaker's name for Sunday
After check-in, go directly to Michelangelo Square at the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy the sunset in Florence and have a panoramic view of the city. The so-called mountain top is not too high. It only takes more than twenty minutes to climb up. Florence hugged me with the bright sunshine.
There is a bronze statue of David in the center of Michelangelo Square at the top of the mountain. Although just in case, it still makes me feel that David is staring at the whole city, or Michelangelo is staring at the whole city. I was attracted by the red Florence in the warm sun on the top of the mountain and the sunflower paintings in the square. The red roofs are patchy, the Arno River flows slowly in the city center, and sometimes a small bridge is built. This typical European scenery caught me off guard and I was fascinated every time I saw it. At this moment, the setting sun is blooming over the city, like a painter who has guarded the city for many years, showing his exquisite skills to the jade people. There are faint rosy clouds and looming red roofs, which are beautiful and unreal. I put this beautiful scenery in my mind and couldn't bear to watch the sunset. I slowly left the top of the mountain.
Come down from the top of the mountain and walk all the way along the Arno River to the city center. Most of the houses by the river are red and yellow bungalows. The colors are quite bright, reflecting the green and euphemism of the river. Everything is just right.
After a while, I came to Uffizi Gallery by the river, which is an ordinary art gallery but enjoys the reputation of a palace. I also booked tickets in advance and arranged to visit tomorrow. Opposite the art museum is Florence's iconic ancient bridge. She has been lying quietly on the Arno River for a thousand years. This is by no means a bridge just to cross the river. There are many shops and even sculptures on the bridge. Seen from both sides of the bridge, the scenery around the Arno River is so quiet and beautiful. When night falls slowly, the moonlight covers the river, and the surrounding lights light up one by one, making the city more intoxicated. It is said that Dante met his goddess Beatrice on the ancient bridge, and a postcard named "Dante meets Beatrice" can be found around the ancient bridge. It seems to be a bridge with a story. Around the old bridge, there are countless businesses, which are no longer small shops in our memory. Italy's exquisite handmade leather goods once again show their talents here. Gloves, leather wallets, leather coin purses, belts and wallets are not cheap, but the goods are of the best quality.
As night falls, after a cursory look at her style, I am always impressed by her food and wine. T-bone steak, Tiramisu and Tuscan wine around Florence vineyards are also famous wine producing areas in Italy. So in some small restaurants in Florence, sometimes there are wines brewed by merchants. I can drink most of the bottles by myself and sleep in bed drunk, which is one of the happiest things in Florence.
the next day
The next day's itinerary is very simple, that is, to visit the Uffizi Art Museum that passed by yesterday. Florence is the cradle of the Renaissance. Visiting Florence's art gallery is absolutely not to be missed. One day is not enough!
This world-famous art museum, founded in 1560, was originally an office in medici family (in Italian, Uffizi is homophonic with Office). The whole project was not completed until 158 1. 1765, Uffizi Gallery officially opened to the public. You can buy a Chinese version of the guide book when you enter the library, so take this book with you for an interesting art trip. Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Raphael, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Giotto and other famous artists have a quiet conversation with you in the art gallery. I especially like Botticelli's The Birth of Venus. For someone who doesn't know much about art, the beauty of this painting naturally reminds me of the beauty of emerald. Besides these, my favorite is the map gallery, the map of the whole corridor. For a map controller, it's like a mouse falling into a rice jar. Imagine what a great creation hand-drawn maps are for people who don't have Google Maps positioning, especially those who sail.
No matter when you enter the museum, you are like me, waiting in line to open the door in the early morning. There is always a feeling of lethargy after visiting, so I always have to spend some time looking at the paintings.
Since Uffizi, my vision has been saturated, and it seems that no matter how beautiful the scenery is, it can't be noticed. Uffizi gallery is built by the river. Now, take a deep breath on the shore and look at the bustling businessmen and tourists on the ancient bridge. There is always a feeling that time has passed. I seem to be a person walking out of the picture and watching the changes of this Millennium.
Day 03
The trip on the third day was more enjoyable. Florence is not a big city. I enjoyed an oil painting meal yesterday and continued my architectural tour in Italy today. What an artistic feast!
Notre Dame de Paris is a landmark building in Florence. It's been a million times. This morning, I finally got a chance to have a good visit.
Unlike ordinary white churches, Notre Dame and Baihua Cathedral are composed of the green, white and red colors of the Italian flag. Although colors seem to be used more than ordinary churches, they are not gaudy at all, on the contrary, they are solemn. I have always felt that France is a very conservative country, always cautious about black and gray, and it is admirable to see them boldly using colors in Spain and Italy. Her red dome is the first in history.
The mural on the dome of the cathedral is the last judgment of Savani and Frederick. Because the tower is quite high and the murals are quite complicated, people with binoculars can be seen everywhere in the church. I climbed the 472 stairs to see the murals. When I felt dark, the mural with a blue background suddenly appeared in front of me. And the final judgment. I thought Michelangelo was unparalleled, but such a deep three-dimensional dome here still shows her uniqueness. Climb to the top of the church again, overlooking the whole city, satisfied, really like a painting!
Opposite the church is the Baptist Church, and the door facing the cathedral is the golden' Heaven Gate', which tells ten religious stories about staying overnight, Adam and Eve. Unfortunately, I don't know much about religion, and I can only see a golden light.
Go straight ahead from the street in front of the cathedral, and you will pass a square first, which is what I call "Sculpture Square". Besides the city hall, you can also see many sculptures with different names here. You can sit on any step and enjoy these works quietly. Some are about religious stories, others are about mythical heroes. They are very vivid and their expressions are very realistic. Fable-like sculptures, plus the bell tower, make the whole square full of aura. There is another tall statue of David in front of the bell tower. Of course, the original will not be presented to us like this. This masterpiece of Michelangelo's David seems to have become a landmark building in Florence, and the original is hidden in the local college art museum. Michelangelo's "Day, Night and Morning" is also hidden in the Medici Chapel.
Walking out of the sculpture square, you can see all the unique paths. If you want to have a lost trip in Florence, the best way is to walk away. I vaguely remember that the corner of a path is Dante's former residence, which has been converted into Dante Museum. There are still some maps and things like that hidden in it. So inadvertently hidden in a forest in a residential area. This feeling of a long culture is really beyond the reach of architectural remodeling. Imagine that if you just wander around the street, you will come to Dante's former residence, which is very attractive to anyone who loves literature.
Florence is by no means a big city, but its exquisiteness is so in place.
Say goodbye to ...
In the next few days, I almost followed Michelangelo's footsteps to visit, or got lost in the winding path. As long as at night, I always find my way by listening to the church bells and looking along Notre Dame. After dusk, you don't have to follow the artist's footsteps, just hide in the pub to taste wine.
There are so many places to visit in this city. David's footprint, oil painting footprint, fashion footprint, every landscape is so vicissitudes and powerful that it can be used as a landmark building of any city. And they, in this way, stood quietly in the green.
This is the jade I yearn for, not only attracted by the beauty and temperament of this city, but also shocked by her powerful connotation! I waved my sleeves with her, but I always hoped to return to her arms again!
