The Historical Evolution of Binzhou Central Hospital
Binzhou Central Hospital was founded in 1948, formerly known as Heping Hospital of Huimin District, Shandong Province. In 2000, it was renamed Binzhou Central Hospital by the Second People's Hospital of Huimin District and the Central Hospital of Huimin District. In 2007, it co-located with the former Binzhou Institute of Tuberculosis Prevention and Control. The former Binzhou Tuberculosis Prevention Hospital was developed from the English Church Hospital run by 1902. It was originally named Ruji Hospital. After Wuding Daoli Hospital and Shandong Eighth Rehabilitation Hospital, 1958 was established, 1984 was changed to tuberculosis prevention hospital, and 1998 established tumor hospital, which was merged in 2000.
