Bengbu Medical College was established in July, 1958. Moved from the former Shanghai Second Medical College, Anhui Medical College built it. It is a provincial general medical undergraduate college in Anhui Province, and the first batch of units in China with the right to award bachelor's and master's degrees. It is a joint training unit for doctoral students of Shandong University and the Third Military Medical University. It is an academician workstation and postdoctoral post setting unit in Anhui Province.
